Andy is a tool anyway, don't listen to anything he says. Think I went to school with you, may have even played soccer with you. Welcome fella.

Hey mate, did you used to go to Northcote? Think might have played soccer with you at some point. If so, bring the car over sometime and I'll have a look at it Ashkan

^Probably pay not to do that mate, will end up rooting it even more.

Looks cool. Don't put any more "fancy sh*t" on it. And don't drift into power poles. Welcome.

Westy: Yeah, thats what I'm going to be doing. Have one coming tommorow hopefully, was too cheap to pass up . Cost me less than the alloy required to make it all up. Josh: Have ordered a Bosch 044, also because it was cheaper than a Holley red. Where did you get your tank>surge pot pump from? Is it external? Been looking for something basic for it, otherwise was going to just get another 044 or a 550 Walbro or similar. Also. car is now back together and running. New plugs etc, should hopefully get another few laps out of it yet. Still pulls all right, just has f**k all oil pressure (around 40 psi). In saying that, the oil in it is way too thin and has thinned out even more. Will try a cheap gloopy thick oil and see what happens before next friday.

This is certainly a weapon around the track. Pulls well and stops even better. Primo mate!

Sweet. So, am I right in saying I will need to run 2 pumps? One in tank to the swirl pot and one from swirl pot to fuel rail? Am I also right in saying that I could use a fairly average pump from tank to pot and a grunty one from pot to motor?
-
Cheers for that. Pump looks like the one I had in mind. Was thinking of a baffled "Jazz" type cell but I guess running an external swirl pot will eliminate the need somewhat. Would probably be a bit of a safer bet though I suppose. Will just wait and see what pops up I guess. And yeah swirls are cheap as chips. Where is the best place to get line from? Probably just good rubber stuff. BNT etc?

Hmmm ok sweet that's a big help. Noticed also that the price of EFI line is insane compared to non injected line. Which is understandable. Also, who ever is importing that braided line must be making a creaming! Anyone got any hookups? Don't want that bling bling braided stuff. Just something that will work. Anywho, am going to start collecting parts slowly and hopefully in the next couple months or so should have a motor and fuel setup. So the list I have so far is: -40L drop tank -1L swirl pot -~11m of fuel line -Fuel pump ( am thinking a Walbro external unit, but am open to suggestions) -sh*t load of various hose clips. That's all I can think of? Will ring Ray tommorow to discuss engine options and come up with a plan from there.

Happy birthday mate

Motor is in bits again. Motor is dripping oil all over the plugs and they are fouled as f**k. Which is why it started to run like a sack at Puke. Also the rear heater pipe burst. So am going to put new plugs in it, tighten everything up, and run this motor into the ground. WILL be building a new M20 while the blowing up process happens. Also, the whole fuel system is shot. Filter had never been replaced, (now has) all the lines are rotten, and the tank has a 2cm layer of sh*t through out the whole thing. Will be running a drop tank in the boot w/ swirl pot. And running new lines through the inside of the car ( someone enlighten me on the legallity of this please). So pretty much back to square one. I love cars.

Saw a pre f/l e30 coupe parked outside parrallell imported on gold weaves/RS's. Looked sweeeeet. Also, a E30 cab on Johno's RS copys. Also looked sweet. Also, who was the guy in the blue E36 that waved me down on Oteha Valley Rd when i was towing the race car.

Awesome as always mate.

Where does one buy SA E30 radiator hoses. I'm looking for a full set. I'm guessing Gavin, and I will give him a call tommorow but is there anywhere else? Also, in terms of plugs... my ones seemed to foul up pretty quick, I know the motor is a bit tired but is there any way of remedying this for another few laps? Hotter plugs? Cheers Ashkan

Oh and some crappy pics.

Little vid from puke today. Went out with Dylan, awesome day. Car went well. For 4 laps... then the exhaust fell off. Fixed that up pretty easy. Got another 30 or 40 laps in and a water hose split. Car handled bloody well and brakes really are awesome. I wanna go out some more. Visit My Website
