I have the non ergo one. a round knob. Havent tried stealer, mine is just all scummy and its impacting on my short shift buzz.

Its the worst 1.3mp you can get though. It is a good phone and was wicked value at $199, (now its gone up to $299 no so great value for that). Nokia has fallen off big time, SE phones are a little dated + awesome new ones are real close. That 3.2mp sharp is a bit of a brick and it opens funny. The Moto's have bad UI, (IMO). Its a tough call at the moment. I like some samsungs, though havent owned one. The upper end panasonics like VS7, VS6 etc, are quite nice. Check out this samsung slider, dont know the model number, that shop on broadway has it (etop?). real slim real classy looking, ~$750.

I would avoid 3G if you can. too big, poor coverage, poor battery. My mate took that razr back after 2 days. Shitty UI. (all moto). If you want a smart phone i dont really know them, but Treo 650 is popular. Hard to beat k750i/w800, no 3g though. If i needed 3G id consider the samsung (z500?). Though i have heard poor battery life. Panasonics VS series are pretty good. Awesome screens. Pretty simple though. Six months and some really hot phones are comng. Like that samsung with 8gig HDD and the new SE phones.

i dunno. i doubt it. i assume that they got a 'mate' to machine up some copies of the schnitzer one. Its just the standard bushings as far as i'm aware. (you could 'play' witht the stick as if it was in neutral, when in gear.) Why stress with the hassel of doing it yourself? Satisfaction buzz, sure. I prefer to use experts, that's what they are for.

i thought that older dvd players responded better to -R? maybe i was confused. I have been using +R for ages. They dont work on a couple of my mates players, but perfect on mine. Phillips brand discs. crap dvds are so much more a factor than crap cds.

Got it at Barvarian. My bushes were all shot so it wasnt much for the upgrade. The linkage thing is like $60 i think. From what i understand its just a little piece that goes between the lever and the bit that the lever usually attatches to. Its a copy of the schnitzer one i was told. Just a piece of aluminium. The lever is the same length, which is sweet because IMO higher up is better. i asked about that, but didnt really understand the answer. Its close to perfect. i.e.i dont see how you could make it better. You wouldnt want it 'shorter', (its like one click into gear).

Wicked mod. I thought it would be good, but its great. I got the schnitzer replica linkage, with the standard shift lever. Changes are like 'one click up' for 1st, 'one click down' for 2nd. Tight and a bit notchy (i like that). Fully recomended. :thumb:

Im thinking EVO recaros, or similar. Guy I spoke to reckons use the rails from the evo and make adapter to fit my mounting points. Seatbelt mounting wont change. I would sell my sport seats with their rails. $800 to fit realistic?

Really? i woudn't have thought that expensive. So say i i bought some STI seats. Would i want it with the STI rails? Or would it be preferable to attach e30 rails to the STI seats? Obviously some work would be needed. Say i buy some Jamex seats, how are they fitted? Custom mounts? or jamex provide a fitting kit? Would i be able to use a (jamex or sim.) fitting kit attathced to STI seats? Do you need a cert?
