Why 318? My bro has a 318i manual, and they go sweet. When one in the car, on a flat bit of road. They go as good/better than jap 1.8's IMO. Character goes a long way.

Nice, good info guys. Haven't narrowed it down to 2 cars yet, but there is a much bigger selection of 325i's. Also the 325i's around at the moment have a better colour selection. Colour is important. (prefer no silver/gunmetal/gold) TM seems to have most available. Looking no more than $65k By all means give me your personal pick. The black one isnt that nice. **edit both black ones**

Yeah obviously engine. THings like brakes, suspension etc.??? You guys know of any links with a comparison table or anything? I am helping someone buy one. They are not going to be modding it, and aren't really the kind of driver that drives 'spiritedly'. This is why I am wondering if it is worth the (only little bit) of extra money to go for the 330i. Where are the chromes?

When im doing between 80-100kph, there's quiet a loud whiring noise coming from what sounds about the rear left wheel or rear middle of the car. Any idea? I'll get it checked, but does it sound urgent? shot.

the new RS6 isnt out yet, the S6 is on the drawing boards.We're getting the new RS4 in, in a couple of months. I'll do you a mean deal the one with the turbo V8, based on the a4, that one is sick. THey seemed to have got rid of the understeer.

Heaps of cars i used to hate, grow on me. I wasnt that keen on the new 5's, but now i like them (if they have big wheels). But the e90 has a few things that kill me. THe rear lights are the worst, they look like a Daewoo. Give me a new RS6 (or is it 4?) any day. (No more under)
