"just tuck the bumpers dude" 170hp at the wheels?
-
How do i get into that industry?
-
Yes true. But there is the issue of "genuine article". m325i/sports do have small options (eg. completely de-chromed) that would be difficult (and fairly pointless) to create a m325i/sport identicle to the genuine thing. Therefore although you can create an 'm325i/sport' like car, but it is not identicle. So it doesn't have the intrinsic value added due to rareness. (which is probably minimal ATM) I could put a 4age and LSD in an AE85 corolla, that doesnt make it an AE86. Oh and the pre FL m20 does go harder than the FL.... biartches.

how exactly would it not be just another 325i? its rego? So Gus, when exactly does it stop being an M car ? When anything is removed. The only difference between an m325i and 325i is what is listed above. if any of that is removed, its not the real deal anymore. If i took the engine out of an m3 and swapped it with a 1800cc engine, its not an m3 anymore. IMO it may have been 'genuine' at one stage, but if you take parts off it that made it 'genuine' in the first place, then how can you claim it is still 'genuine'? You can certainly say it WAS genuine, but now it is missing pieces that made people pay $80k for it back in the day.

BMWorkshop told me that changing the cylinder is: A) not a straight swap probably not going to fix my problem and i have to bring it in, so they hook my wallet up directely to the bleed valve.
-
i always refer to bmw as beemer. bimmer sounds stupid IMO. This site, to who ever i have told, is beamersport. WTF is bimmer anyway? I thought it was natural saying beemer, as it is short for "bee-em-double you"

Sweet as. Thanks for help. Think i might go for a bigger MC, new lines, new fluid, should be good.
-
are the e32/e34 master cylinders effectively a straight swap?
-
I say this bc my brothers 318i feels like it has way better brakes.master cylinder then eh?
-
Not ABS. When i drive other cars, my first brake usually almost turns into a skid! They have decent stopping power, but you have to jump on them to get it. I know e30 brakes aren't the best, but i feel mine are sub-par.

kids these days

I don't like the travel my brake pedal has before anything happens. Im not after monster brembo's, but i would like more responce. I have (what i was told were) good pads, with plenty left on them. Is a fluid upgrade and replacing the leads with these going to make much difference? Do i need to take more dra$tic measures?

A perfectly ok, horible colour, m3 ruined.

i have seen a turbo'ed white one, with a massive front mount. Lots of $$$$$$$$$

They are pretty hot.But when u get into that price range there is a massive selection. Ray's? Actually can that idea, get some deeeeeeeeep dish action happening
-
Seriously that is a good idea. But i can weld. I dont mind the look with the aerial, but none would look cool too. i mean this SORT of thing

Aren't fog lights yellow? For all you haters above, thank your bureaucracy that the blue, yellow, pink, super white mini spot light craze is finished.

I thought the rule was you were only allowed them on in 100km areas?

Granit Silver is the colour of mine.No where near my favourite colour BMW either, but then I don't really give a rats about colour (within reason). I'm not that metro. Don't really have a favourite, just judge each car on its merits I guess. Yes agreed its relative to the car. I like Andrews car (please dont ban me), and the colour suits the look, but i wouldnt personally buy a red one. Gran(i)t silver is understated, and i would buy in that colour, if the car was good.

Thats a great idea, thanks bro!
