If the plate is stolen they can reissue it. Although registration plates are property of LTSA so altering them would lead to fines if you got caught. You're better off doing it the way you originally suggested.

Throw some bilstein shocks and H&R springs in there and you'll be amazed.

That one is a beauty. I have a soft spot for the e39s. Especially schnitzer kitted ones.

Another aucklander.... and selling his BMW!

If you want to check it out for yourself. Take one off and on the back there will be a AC Schnitzer stamp. I agree with Mark though. -
Welcome mate, we must have pictures!! By chance, is this the black schnitzer kitted one previously sold in Rotorua? That was 6 speed.

Pictures always help.

You would need to sand the gloss down to get the paint to stick.

I've got a pair (left and right) of OEM clear side indicators for facelift e36's. The clips are broken that hold them in tight, but they sit in fine. Just a small piece of double sided tape would work perfectly. Apart from this they are in mint condition. I have heard of people putting these on pre-facelifts, although modification is needed. (Don't know whats involved) If you are interested, you are welcome to come over and have a look, even try them on if necessary. They come with the bulbs currently in them. These retail @ BMW for around $55 each new. Wanting $30. Less than 1/3 what BMW want new. PM me if interested. Cheers

Haha, yea, call me weird but I actually like that kind of woodgrain. But the silver also looks great as well. I assume they are interchangeable. As long as the X5 you take it out of is pretty much exactly the same as the one you're putting it into, because of the holes for different parts, etc. I don't know!!

Suspension Upgrade Options
greenday-rulz21 replied to SIR E30's topic in Brakes, Suspension & Steering
The most popular setup I've noticed is Bilstein shocks and H&R springs. -
Very nice mate, love the interior!

I don't think people were purposely poking sh*t your way. The M3 and the X5 are very different cars, and I think it was just a bit surprising to some people that once considering the M3 you went for the X5. So don't get offended by people acting a bit weird, the M3 is a dream car to some and they would take it over a X5. Of course what you want to buy is your own decision, but remember posting on a public forum, people have opinions and thoughts. Although people should restrict what they post a bit more IMO. I personally want to see pic's of this beast Sounds a minter mate. edit: And enjoy the drive back to Dunners (Lucky bugger!!)
