I know which I'd rather have!
  3. As Jeremy said, there not genuine BMW. Look like Hamman rep's, though could be original. Worth a fortune if they are.
  4. Thats what I use as well Martyn. It has the majority of the styles, this is the first I know of that isn' on there.
  5. No problem mate, yea if your option sheet said style 29's then they would be what was on it from new. Are they what were on it when you got it?
  6. Haha, give it away mate. You think you're soo smart making up these sh*t excuses. Then calling all of us idiots when you got found out. And you went to a moderator. I can't imagine why. ooooohh another presumption!!
  7. Hey mate, welcome to the forum. We love pictures here, post some up of both your cars. H&R + Bilsteins ftw.
  8. Can't stop laughing! Why make it soo obvious mate? If you were going to wouldn't you call your account something new? Not the name you used on a BMW site where you advertised it as well as the link? If you're gonna do it you may as well do it well.
  9. Do we get votes? Cause I definitely put a vote in for a pic of ED1RTY. Hottest e30 around.
  10. My 323 one was $330. Genuine BMW.
  11. With the suggestions he's shown it looks as though he isn't suggesting a straight upgrade to the newer style plates but to get a later registration number. If so you would have to re register you car, I believe, but don't quote me on that.
  12. Single I'm assuming, just like Germanplates.com
  13. $60 for the indicators alone if you're interested. Edit: If for a coupe.
  14. I'm completely with you on that. That one of the meanest old skool merc's i've seen.
  15. Is there absolutely no way you can make them fit?
  16. You might have a fight on your hands! Soo tempted.
  17. Good comment crazyarab. The e36 is a good all around car. I was very fortunate to come across a 323 manual, probably the best cross between fuel efficiency and definitely enough hp for a bit of fun. Make sure you get one with some history behind it. Then you will have an idea what has been done. As crzarb said, beware with auto jap imports. They have a problem called the Jatco jerk, which is in most cases a jerk between 1st and 2nd. Most noticeably when cold, but seem to ease away as the car warms up. I have seen receipts for 3k+ to fix this issue. The hoodlining is a common issue aswell. Not really costly to fix just an inconvenience. All e36's were called back to BMW to replace the lower steering joint (or something like that) because of corrosion over time. Check over any e36 for rust bubbles. When I first looked at a few, all NZ new, a couple had rust bubbles on the a pillar and the roof. Although not a big problem like those e30's! The most common mod and probably the most cost effective to do to the 323 is to fit a 328 exhaust system. This apparently gives another 10hp? Which puts it up there near the 325s/328s. Good luck with your search for a nice example. The price range you're looking at definitely won't get a minta but could get a nice little project which can be improved. I would suggest with cars around that price, get an inspection done before you purchase. I don't know if Glenn @ Botanymotorworks does Pre-purchase inspections, but its a worth while investment.
  18. Didn't you say the dealer was going to pay? Just get a new one from BMW.
