Slingshots service isnt that bad, no worse than ihug or telecom im on a similar plan with slingshot except its 60 bucks and 25gb limit!! during peak you get about 1.5mb dwn and 3-4mb in the wee hours, altough every now and again the arse drops out completely fast enuff during peak to run 3 computers steaming you tube + playin on web (set up a house network last week!)

i was looking at century/yuasa batteries earlir in the year, as i was told they were the best... for a direct swap for an e30 was about $110 and about $150ish for the bigger one batt 1 cant find the other one but im sure you could find it

For those of you asked to see how i's doin it.... what ive done: fit 6 1/4" speaker to kick panel (infinity 6015 reference componets) removed bonnet release and spaced it out to fit over speaker peeled vynil off area of glovebox that needs cutting cut out a rebate in glovebox to allow to open and close properly!! what needs doing: make better spacer for easier use of bonnet release (plastic tube was just handy guna make a carbon 1) plastic weld/glue in sidewalls for the rebate in the glovebox refit vynil to gloebox (getting done by upholsterer sez like 30 buks) what ive learnt hard plastic of glovebox + pneumatic hacksaw = CRACK!! hence bracket above rebate impatience + heatgun = bubbled vynil, told will come out bu still all and all prety happy,looking forward to it being done maybe if doing it again, retrofitting a rip cord style bonnet release would be alot less time consuming, but then the OG bonnet release is kinda kool or searching for shallower speaker covers - but im a sucker for infinity components!! will update with pics when finished

yeah tried to go that way, but didnt want to smaller in speakers, its just that stupid bonnet lever!!!! the whole thing is only just out, have almost finished it thou!! i guess the best thing to do is to measure the gap between the kick panel and the bonnet release and then goto a car audio shop and measure the cover depth of the speakers and then choose out of those that fit. mounting depth isnt great in e30s either!!!
