Master cylinder, not letting the fluid return freely and holds some pressure in the line??? Pedal not adjusted out fully???

Xyz are the same as first gen d2 just lower spring rates
-
Usually they are over sprung and heavy. I have had the first gen for three years and abuse the crap out of my race car and one leaked after a year. Cost $100 to replace the damper and that was it. The top hats don't like to be removed more than a few times or the bolts come loose. They work fine on the track and over 140kph on roads, but potholes can almost bounce you off the road. They are ok for daily use if you still have stock seats but race seats gets a little hard. Better than just lowering springs but they really are limited and travel is short. I'd say if you want to race skip them and save for something better. I'm currently looking for something better as last track day they were too hard for the wet.

Herb Morgan fitted short shiny ones to my race car last time I got tyres.

Just installed reverse camera this afternoon, got some issue -- **Upda

Ground is any metal surface that is connected to the body. Look for bunches of black wires going to one point. -

The ground you are using is the headlight wire. Ground when they are off, turn lights on and it goes 12v. That makes the the head unit reverse input floating and it can not tell if it's connected or not. Better than my day. Camera all installed and wired. Camera is dead. Camera wiring is whole length of car and needs to all come out again. Can't replace it as it's speacial to the camera. -

Mouthwash etc don't get picked up unless you just had it or drink the stuff. You get retested anyway and can get a blood test which wont false positive. It is election year there are always stupid changes that sound good to the masses to win votes. Will not change much at all that I can see. And the younger you are the more you are effected until around 23ish when the brain stops growing. Few less drinks would be a good thing, wish I drank less it'd make life easier now if I could remember things better.

That bit I know, is there anything to watch out for.

I check it out once you put some photos up. Starting to fear a can't live with an auto.

Holy crap that is very nice.

The uk photo mags ave some good DVDs and relate to photo retouching. The dvds have the files so you can practice and see if you get the same quality result. I have cs5 and actually use the canon software far more, unless you need to fix problems it's pretty good.

http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=387626371 Is there any downside to the d models? Are there levels to the msport? Some have body kits others don't, only feature seems to be seats and radio control that they al have.

Thanks for that wonderful insight! Not expecting miracles but on their own the 6.5" only just managed to not sound too thin. Ok so the surrounding mounts where very wide so just 6". I wanted to know if the smaller ones can manage the same.
-
How good do they sound? I've had the bigger version and they only just worked without a sub. The rest was fantastic though.

Lucky lots of policy's exclude anything not on the car.

If you are unsure list it. Also anything you change during ownership really needs to be listed, not if it's broken and replaced so much but if you upgrade. If it was an oem option then you most likely will get away with it... But if you have had previous accidents or stolen cars they will send an assessor and if they think you know are into cars they do expect you to have know about the mods. Ring and ask what they have listed for your car, ask them to note it has the optional bigger wheels. Check the paper work too, i've seen heaps where the car is not in their listing so the model number is not quite right and the value is then questionable. Watch the renewal too they drop the price and send new terms out as well Also they are members of forums and Facebook is used same as HR at companies do too. You have to watch what your friends post on their pages too. Having said that I had a car with a cage installed through state and they still insured it. Always go in person to an office you get a much better chance that way. Just treat it like a job interview for your car, dress well and don't lie your arse off.

Will call tomorrow, thanks.

Currently I have a race car, yes it's Japanese but it's my only car now and it's a bit broken after track day on Sunday. So I have the need for another car to goto work in, and I think it's going to be a BMW. I have liked them for ages but have been outside of Auckland so makes owning one more costly and rare. I need ASAP, I have to find somewhere to live on the shore this week too so must be in or very close to Auckland so I can look at it. It needs to be 3 series as it may have to live in apartment parking which can be very tight. Don't want to spend more than 10k but can if there's real value to it. Prefer manual, but since chickens don't currently have teeth auto or tippy will have to do. I want more than 2 airbags, but heaps seem to only list 2 I like the msport kit look and I understand that 2002 was a big update to a lot of the range? I'm looking at 2002 318ci msport but the unofficial BMW site list it as far wider than the 4door? Is this true??? Not sure about the ti but if someone with knowledge knows of a good model or reason I will look at them. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=391346233 Ok so it's more money but looks like it has reason too. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=393618731 Interesting the little wing and slotted brakes make it look like it may have more to it? Basically I need HELP as I need to learn what to look at in the E46 for problems or good options. I know there has to be a group on here that is always looking at trademe etc and already knows what's worth. buying.
