  1. Best time so far is actually 8.99. "8 second pass". Oh but the whole car is a waste of money!
  2. Video: http://vimeo.com/6671126 Better pic:
  3. Some say when it spools, it changes wind direction in 3 continents.
  4. http://www.e30tech.com/forum/showthread.php?t=76315 Good'un.
  5. This is a Swedish car with a M20 in it, with a massive holset snail on the side of it. 4 link rear end.
  6. I love your idea of having them meet behind the engine, and then a single pipe going to the turbo. Should help spool time considerably!
  7. Sure can. Align the timing marks before you drop it on.
  8. There aren't many good looking, wide 16 inch wheels for the E30. The ACS wheels are 100% sweet.
  9. Most of it is boring. I watch the way they move the steering wheel, listen to the throttle control and memorise pitting tactics Those are all very interesting.
  10. So which side of the engine does that primo looking turbo sit? My inital guess would be the left side looking towards the front, lots of space there.. And what route does the exhaust from the 3 cylinders on the other side take to get there?
  11. Screw it. Missed the race today. Suzuka is an amazing track. guts.

    M325i vs SR20DET.

Oh and some pics. Everyone loves pics. I get 5 PM's a day from people who want pics. Pics of sexy metal. 1.5mm bigger. About 60% stiffer. Can really feel the difference it when trying to twist them in your hands. Unbolt shock, spring falls out. Slide out old bar. Slide in new. Easy. Once again the bushings were over sized. But not nearly as bad as the front ones. Just used some pliers to close up the bracket, then inserted bolt and tightened untill just a wee bit of resistance was felt in the movement of the bar. The bolt at the top of the link is 14mm, the first Japanese sized bolts are on this car! Gross.

    M325i vs SR20DET.

Hahaha! Gold man. FIRST DRIVE REPORTS ARE COMING IN NOW... I spun out from some snap oversteer... This car is another new machine to learn. Huge understeer if you don't turn-in smoothly, but when fast turn-in is required it changes ends and kicks out so smoothly and predictable, will have to reduce front camber now, that will be the cause of that understeer. The rear is so much more planted and grippy. It leaves some seriously decent parallel black lines coming out of my favorite corners, whereas before it did not. The massive increase of inside-rear-wheel grip is helping the LSD do it's thing, Slalom style back and forth steering is amazing! Definitely need a E36 rack now. Much more punishing when it lets go. 16inch lower profile wheels (one day soon they will come haha) aren't going to help that.. But they sure will help grip Need to get all 4 wheels with the same rubber on them to really see what this car can do, and set that adjustable rear bar up. Just on full soft at the moment.

    Cameron v. Tua

I only caught about 1 min of the fight while working at the bar last night (by the time I checked again it was over..), but hell Tua's punches were just going straight through Camerons blocks like they weren't even there. Should never have let him resume the 2nd round, he was a blank canvas, totally ruined. and laugh my ass off at the people who bet 5 figures on Cameron to win it..

    M325i vs SR20DET.

The adjustable end links will come for sure. But from all the research, a 24mm front bar is going to be puuuurrrfect with standard end links. Screw the rain this morning! Makes lying under a car a bloody cold affair.

    M325i vs SR20DET.

Stage 1 is 1 day away from completion. 30 pages in the making. Now the car will be the best handling road-going E30 evaaaarrrrr. Today I finally picked up the Whiteline sway bars. Quality bar really, but f**k is it a nightmare to install. The bushings are oversized and had to do some good ol' ingenuity to get the buggers on. But the short bolts holding the brackets together will have to go, they cannot be loosened enough to allow the bar to move semi-freely (as the included instructions say they should) Will have to pick up some longer 13mm bolts tomorrow. Haven't done the rear bar yet, but it will be much, much easier than the front - had to take off bolt control arms and, as the pics show, piss around with the jack trying to wedge the things in.. Size difference: 19 vs 24. According to this chart (if the bars were the same material and design, which they are not) it's a 200% increase, eeeepic. Adjustable rear, 3 holes at each end. This will enable furthur handling tuning perrrrfection. (E30 perfection, so in other words, not that great really) Screwdriverjackering. Standard Jackering. Yum. And rebuilt the front calipers Unpacked. Repacked with new grease in the sliders, and a little goo brakelened out from behind the pistions.. New pads coming tomorrow.
  17. Spotted! 2002 touring in Fazazz. Mint condition. 14k. Spotted! Noisey orange E30 with a car load of drunkards in it Spotted! E46 M3 x 2 Spotted! Spotted!
  18. Lmao! Great discovery. If you want a 6 point harness, slide the seat back 3 notches, then lock the seat belt, then reposition the seat with the belt niiiiice and tight. Amazing. Just for people who don't know
  19. Well thanks! But, Where's the James~? He was giving me so much sh*t last week.. I do hope he likes my wee video. It has no drifting, like I said it would, however...
  20. 13.5! Maybe that on a sh*t launch! I'd expect in the 12's from you, you smart cookie. I do heart your suspension. It makes a hell of a difference having good dampers.

  23. http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....showtopic=23913 Post 10 holds the key. You will need turps and you will have to take the bootlid off. *edit* Hmm you have a E36, might be different. But still, I bet the glue is there...
  24. I would love that car in manual. With straight pipes.
