  1. Your spot on there is does slightly reduce low end but ive turned it up and just as good now. Thanks for the info
  2. Vibration solved rubber mounts worked a treat they cost $30 but well worth it to stop the vibration
  3. Awesome thanks for that ill definitely give this ago if the rubber mounts fail.
  4. Thanks Neal ive ordered some anti vibration mounts that should hopefully isolate the sub from the tray. Ill keep you posted on how this goes.
  5. I really dont want to have to move it if it came to that i would rather remove it. Yeah ill give some matting ago see how it goes. thanks man
  6. I tried fixing it yesterday afternoon but i just cant stop the vibration. I wanted to do it properly so i lifted the parcel try and couldnt find anything specifically rattling i put soft plastic mounts between shelf and sub slightly better but i think its just the thin steel shaking with the vibrations ill try with soft rubber and see if it helps. In the mean time the sub level is down low to prevent noise
  7. Cheers guy packs a punch with it turned right up. Vibrates the rear parcel tray but if i put my hand on it the vibration stops so i might have to pack it slightly with foam
  8. Sadly my car wasn't fitted with the harmon kardon speakers and lacked abit of bass. So i installed this fusion 8" low profile sub. This was the perfect unit for the job, small enough that it wouldn't effect the boot space and would be difficult to see Really happy with the result sounds much better not too much but just enough.

  13. So had an awesome day with the ECC crew at the meet & cruise today. Only just got my wheels sorted the morning of the event after a multiple air leaks. Big thanks to my muscular mate Dion for the assistance of removing tyres There was a great turn out today at asb show grounds I won best wheels which was a great testament the all the work my mates and my partner put into them to get them ready such short notice. So really pleased. So here are some photos Some are abit crap been so busy
  14. Yeah it was well priced but also had been a crashed car repaired which wasn't ideal but still for what paid then it was. I was very excited to own my first real m3 and so far couldn't be happier with it runs really well too Yeah ray flashed the CSL tune although its more effective on the smg version. I noticed friends of mine who smg have those shift lights which the manual doesnt, call me ricer but i think theyre really cool so ray is hopefully going to program them sometime in next couple of weeks
  15. Cheers man. Cant wait to get them on hopefully have them all done by the meet on sunday
  16. A sneek peek into next week prior to refurb.
  17. Cheers guys not aure about the boost tho i wont rule it out of the late late future haha
  18. So some plans for the near future are: Window tints Some kind of exhaust Braided brake lines Wheels with good tyres
  19. Hey guys i thought id start one of these for my recently purchased e46 m3 as i never did for my previous car and now im wishing i had...so here it is 2002 M3 200k plus km (yes its high but im confident in m engines as some of you who knew of my previous car) Manual but was smg Had the floor pan and the bottom end bearing recall done. All sounds messy but i hope to make the car look and perform like it shoud despite the kms. Im working on the car as i go so bear with me guys So im abit ahead of myself here as this thread is slightly delayed. Ive had the car for about 3 months and its been the best car, as much as i like my old e36 this is in some ways a much better chassis. So the things ive done so far The front brakes were quite worn so they were the first on the list- A hefty price tag wasnt expecting them to be that expensive. The stereo exceeded my expectations as a factory unit but i missed all the functionality of my aftermarket e36 unit. So i found a cheap used dynavin unit which despite feels like an old smartphone is fantastic especially the navigation. So shortly after purchasing the car i discovered an oil leak which at first was not much of a concern for me as i thought i could easily fit, but it proved to quite troublesome to find i replaced a few gaskets but still no luck. Lots of drama over potential headgasket. It was a very slow leak but slowly leaked onto the exhaust which smelt and looked bad. After some research ive found the leak which was leaking from the timing chain guide. So my awesome family got me the personalized plate "MPROVD" for my birthday absolutely wrapped with it So thats about it for now. Bit of special post coming up in the next week which im very excited about soon to come
