Was this on an engine dyno, or is that the calculated amount of power at the fly?

Check with your ISP's - if they are caching the site, then ask them to remove it

I've recently had my E39 wheel allignment done, i will post up the rear camber ranges when I have the sheet. The specs on the sheet are for an e39 540i with 17" wheels and stock suspension.

Just a question, it may not be related, but when u rev the engine from this low idle up to around 6 - 700 rpm and let the engine come back down to idle, does the engine stall, or almost stall? if so then its more than likely one or both of the cam position sensors.

I had the same problem in my old vw golf. It turned out to be something completley random.. the retaining clips for the brake pads. Could be worth a check.

I think Sienna red metallic looks good under lights, or on a sunny day.

Have decided to keep them and get them refurb'd.

The wheels would need the outer lip refurbished as they are all scratched/tarnished. 17x8 size, and come with good tyres (toyo proxes 4 on front and Dunlop Direzza on rear) 235/40/17 size.

Beofre you purchase, get the 740 inspected by a BMW specialist i.e Glenn from Botany Motor Worx, or the BM workshop. It will be piece of mind.

I picked up a sun shade from supacheap for my e39. What a crock of sh*t, after using it for 2 days in the sun it has warped, and now it doesnt even cover the windscreen properly.

do you have any e39 rims and tires for around the 300 mark?

Well, I got itchy feet today so i thought bugger it, i'll clean the HFAM. I went to repco in onehunga and picked up a can of crc mass airflow sensor for $23. I removed the insert from the HFAM pipe, sprayed the resistor section, and the lower sensors with solvent as per the instructions. The cleaner dissolved pretty much instantly, i let it dry thouroughly beofore I re-installed. After my test drive.. Although the idle problem wasn't sorted, the car felt a bit more alive below 4000 rpm. No harm done. Cam sensor replacement next.

At this stage i'll replace the cam posi. sensor and go from there.
