Bald, but they were like that before hand. Haven't done a burnout yet, still need to sort out shifter. Just got the wiring all done basically. And finally sorted out something for the brakes, they just need bleeding.

6000rpm with no exhaust is loud.

Not until you make a fake "THULE sweden" front fairing with a fake Thule logo on it aye bro
-
I guess. That's one cool car. Just out of curiousity, what brake booster is he running?
-
Having trouble with the brakes, the joins i bought for the resivour are dodgy and will pop out. Need to sort this on monday, once it is sorted though I am going to jam into 1st gear with a screw driver on the gear box ( f**k sorting the shifter ) and dump the clutch and smoke out the shed, or my drive way... whatever one is more suitable. It will be filmed. No exhaust FTW. This car has all the fancy parts, it's even got a throttle cable now. But I have a bad earth somewhere and now when i push a horn the headlights come on haha. Yep sure, once it's running I'm keen. Before November because im going overseas for 3 months then. You should come up here, e30m50 meet, that will make 4 of us. You, RyanG, Kerry, me.

The only Honda on 4 wheels I'd give a body part for
mark247 replied to bravo's topic in TradeMe discussions
That thing is ugly in my opinion. I like honda's though, as long as they have 2 wheels, 1000cc, and a RR on the end. -
Even if you got it for $1, if would cost at least $400 to get the car to you, then the work involved to convert into an e30 would cost megabucks if you didnt know what you were doing. All for a 3L m60? It's a half ass engine to begin with. It's like doing all the work to put an M50 into an e30 and deciding to go with a m50b20..

You can get windex in New Zealand???

Seriously over priced too in my opinion lol

That is like the scandinavian version of what we used to do in our VK commadore. AWESOME.

God gave us toe nails so we dont need to wear shoes when grinding right Also those Warehouse grinders are awesome, you can make them into smoke machines / flame throwers, and they come with a 12 month warrenty so you can just keep returning them. "What were you using it for?" - Warehouse person "Cutting down a tree"
-
If that is the case it doesn't turn over at all. The M50 turns over, just no spark or fuel.
-
We converted it to manual long before the m50 conversion.
-
Thanks for the update RyanG Old "RyanG" here knows a royal **** ton more about wiring than I do, if you haven't noticed..
-
I'll let you know when it's all go. Here are some pics of the conversion so far. Empty void. m50 with getrag 240 on it Backyard mechanics 101 The messiest shed in hamilton

Have tracked down the wiring fault to the crank position censor. The wire that nearly made the car catch on fire was a dead short, some sites say it was for ABS, some say it was for airbag, I have no idea. But without that wire my mates e30m50 worked with that loom, so it's not needed. Going to ply the crank position sensor out tomorrow and put in a replacement, then HOPEFULLY we will have some fuel and spark..
