Nice. Subbed to that one.

Dudes building some amazing carbon parts for their E36.
Great production quality too. Good detail in the process'.
Just been watching them make doors. The beginning.

Over 20 orders here too. Faster than anything from the US. And often a better variety of brands.
A little more work involved as you should always search by part number.
Get Part Number from RealOEM. Then fire that into spareto.
If there is any problems they are great to deal with.
Their shipping is broken down nicely too. You can see the cost per item based on weight. If something doesn't look right fire them off an email and they correct it fast.-

Nice. I don't think I ever encountered that car here. Looks tidy.

Can you still give kids the belt? Kids not thrashing his N52 enough.

Yeah I might just eliminate it like you did. I have an entirely different system giving me reminders for the fleet. Was just surprised it thinks it knows better and refuses a reset.
-
Anyone ever had an issue where the system doesn't respond when you request any of the service resets? Either via the dash or coding?
Mine no longer responds.
I did find this but nothing else.
-
Maximum Resets Reached: The CBS (Condition Based Service) system in BMWs, including the E87, allows a limited number of resets. Once this limit is reached, the system may not allow further resets.
Ah never mind. I'm being punished for changing my oil too often I think. I just did 10,000kms on the last one. But the 10 or so before this one were at 7500km intervals.
The remaining percentage is greater than 80%
- The time and date have not been set
Just need to figure out what the "percentage" is.
Details here.

Did the oil Cooler and Oil filter housing gaskets today on my runabout. I should not have left this so long. I made the mistake of thinking no drips on the ground no major leak. Just spent 3 hours cleaning off the caked on oil and dirt.. She was thick.

At that point you sell it and buy a manual.

Honestly don't bother unless you have to. The 6hp19 is only marginally better than the GM. I believed all the hype, but after having owned both examples at the same time I have left my GM. It's a lot of effort for near no gain.

Before you start the car next check if the exhaust manifold is clean of oil that may have dripped onto it whilst sitting.

Big nope. Been listed for over a year. Have a close look at the photos. Crud and wear everywhere. For a car with just over 100K that is bad.
That is a $9K car if they wanted it to move today. And you would be paying a premium for a car you will still need to spend thousands on. That kind of wear and neglect tells me it likely has had minimal maintenance. Not a good thing on an N52 motor.
I think if you are not going to work on it yourself you really need to find one that already has all the big stuff done recently and has no current oil leaks.

N5* series motors all leak from the same spots.
Top of motor:
Valve Cover gasket (including the inner seals around the spark plugs.
Valve Cover cam sensor grommet
Valve Cover itself if it is damaged
Valvetronic motor to Valve Cover gasket
PCV pipes from Valve cover to return
Oil Filter Housing to head
Oil Cooler to Oil Filter Housing
Bottom of motor:
Sump Gasket
Rear Main Seal
Oil level sensorIf the PCV fails it can cause excess pressure in the engine which will force oil out from any weak point.
If the person changing the Valve cover gasket cheaped out and didn't replace the stretch bolts they can snap and be left off.All of these will fail at some stage.
Especially the Valve Cover gasket, PCV and Oil filer housing gasket.

I sold two of my 3. One was near identical to the one you posted earlier. It went for $6200.
I have seen F20 135i's down around your budget.

It was some kind of very dark blue with a horrible red interior. A very weird combo, IMHO.
Coupe, 40k miles, UK import.
As a hopefully humous side note. I didn't call about it because it didn't have cruise control! WTF? I premium M car, from the UK. No CC?mdecoder report below.

Wouldn't you just retrofit something that basic. It's literally just a slip ring, cover and adding it to the build via a program tool.

Here is a scary thing about data sharing.
It is not that the Government will be using your data. It will be Insurance companies.
Insurance will one day demand you share this data with them.I was already being offered discounts on insurance in the US if I shared my driving data with them.
Driving data will be available from everyone. Insurance will take advantage of this.
No data. No insurance.
For the heavy industry this is usually shared voluntarily. Better drivers get cheaper insurance.-

Yeah anyone with a recreational boat will be excited.
This sort of system will introduce a good number of tax dodgers. Just like the current RUC system with the people who put an inline switch on there electronic ODO's or disconnect the mechanical ones.ERoad uses GPS and calibrates against your ODO.
This is where you want a private company holding your data.
Currently if the Police want Eroad data they have to get a court order. You own that data.

This has been in the works and ready to go for the last 10+ years.
I'm interested in the governments implementation for the system. It should be purely done by vetted private entities IMO. E.g. ERoad. Been collecting the vast majority of NZ's heavy vehicle RUC for over 10 years.
I do however want it to be based purely on weight. I don't want to pay the same RUC as a 2.8ton BYD in my 1.2ton 200sx.Picture of the digital RUC label we created when I worked for ERoad in 2015. Even had the police test it with their scanners at the time. They were super excited about it.

The market is super odd at the moment.
I honestly feel like the NZ enthusiast car market is heavily influenced by popular youtubers and whatever is the flavor of the month.
In the generic shitbox car sector I had to fight to buy a 2011 Nissan Xtrail. There were over 100 of them for sale at the time and yet I was under pressure to get one....-

Nice. I have never noticed how stumpy the shifter is in the M3. Looks awkward.

Are you going to do the valve cover gaskets too?
You can do the PCV in place. Fiddley but possible.
Otherwise if you would prefer to have another cover to do the mod then install I would recommend doing the valve cover gasket, valvetronic motor gasket and the cam position sensor gasket. All inexpensive via spareto.com or similar.
I have my old cover here (I replaced the whole thing) and a new PCV you can have for $100. I was going to do the fix and sell it. But never got around to it.
I purchased one of these.

But I also see they have an aluminum version now.

I have an old oem cover and a new diaphragm I could sell you. There is a guide on how to cut the old one free and install the new one. It's not a major. Jackos picture shows everything that needs doing.

I keep reading sh*t that Mercedes may use BMW engines in some models. Not put any effort into fact checking that yet.
