After quite a while of looking I happen to come across this very tidy and genuine NZ New E36 M3. It has black leather along with all the normal kit and is very original including a complete and up to date service book! It's had a new Vanos, water pump, cooling system and all bushes replaced. Going to be working on the paint and bringing It back to new condition. Thinking of putting my immaculate 2003 E39 530i up for sale. So if your interested, let me know. Only have a few pics after quick wash this arvo.

Get mate, I bought the blue one. I spotted you going through Tirau on Fri at around 1pm. Car looks generally pretty good! I spotted you because I saw you looking at my msport e39 parked by the sheep dog on the left hand side.

Ahhhh I see! Haha yeah absolutely! I'm back in Hawkes Bay this weekend and the M3 is tucked up in the garage in Auck. 530i msport is much nicer to travel in! I'm hoping to get back to start working on it on Monday. So I will post some "before pics"

After almost 1 year of searching I have Just picked up this exceptionally tidy and tight E36 M3. It has full service history back to when it was purchased new from Team McMillan in 1995. Full Vanos replacement and then just normal wear and tear related repairs. All owners have had for atleast 5 years and clearly haven't had a problem spending money on it. I picked it up for a little bit of fun until we have kids and so will tidy it up and enjoy it for the next little while before moving on and buying a staton wagon...depressing thought. Haha. Sorry about he avg pic for now. Once I have spent some time on it I will take better pics and upload.

I have a pre Evo Avus blue. And it's the first one I have come across.

They are very useful! I have a V1 at the mo and although I don't use it around town as in my view you should not be speeding around people. But it's great for radar (ka) band which is what the cops use in their cars. Laser is only on the side of he roads and is used mostly on motorways etc. Not at night on a back road heading south.

I was trying to buy a 330ci manual which I thought I had done a deal in but then the guy changed his mind at the last min and I was left with only being able to take my car. Tell you what tho...The E39 held its own . Not on the really really right stuff but everything else was fine. Still though, would love an m3, e36 or 46

Hey, we did actually end up going through. But completely unexpectedly. The leader took a wrong turn and we were having south fun that we didn't realise until it was to late to turn around. So yest we drove over 800km, starting at 3.30am and arrived in CHCH 7.30!! Big day! Now we are off to fox glacier via Arthur's pass. Another big day ). Sorry but we just flew straight through Nelson. Hey who has the red E39 Motorsport on BBS wheels?? It's mint! We drove past him yesterday in Nelson and he flashed his lights .

Not sure yet. Just having that convo now. We are heading through to CHCH tonight and thought maybe knock off some roads inland...? But we left Hastings at 3.30 this morning and got into Welly 6.30 for the ferry. And I drove from Auckland last night after work .... So not sure if more windy roads is a smart idea today.
