  1. H&R springs for an E46 on standard suspension.. would I have to buy shocks too? The deal sounds amazing but I don't really know the logistics involved
  2. Broke my gear shifter trim today, the plastic bit that houses the window switches. Mine's in black though so I would much prefer a black one to replace, as opposed to the carbon fibre one showed. Also while I'm here, is there anybody with any information on the place place to buy the trim clips & pins(?) Mine's a sedan, and it had white ones before I lost them, so I think I'll need the white ones?
  3. Possibly saw you on the motorway today heading up the hill towards the oteha valley offramp? Same colour and wheels so I can only assume it was! Looks sweet!
  4. Have you got any m-sport front's that would fit a sedan brent?
  5. Where did you source the angel eyes? $40 and they look great! I'd love a set.
  6. Wow that E46 is shiney! Looks good on those black wheels too! Welcome to the forum

    SOLD

Have you got pictures of the E46 ones? Is it M3, mtech2 or another?
  8. Yeah that was the exact same research I came up with. I swear I've always had no hassle with VTNZ and more hassle with other mechanics. If you get a chance to get a look at it over the weekend and still want to sell let us know, there's me and a workmate tossing up whether to take the plunge or not. Definitely worth trying to get it back on the road I would think.
  9. Forgive my lack of knowledge but is it financially viable to reregister this? Or would it be worth just looking for a road ready 316?
  10. Saw the plate from a mile away on the motorway this morning! Hard to miss. Looked pretty good from what I saw! (was heading the other way)
  11. The way you're selling this makes me want to buy it alone.. haha
  12. Hi sorry guys as of this morning these have been sold. Sorry to those who enquired but didn't get a reply! I'm only at the computer evenings and mornings
  13. Any interest? I'd take anything above $600 from you guys before they go on TM
  14. I see you on the coast and down at Albany all the time man! Probably one the best sounding E30's I've personally heard. Cool to see the build thread on here.
  15. Very, I was sceptical of what they'd be like at that price. Blown away when I saw they were motorsports, especially staggered. A combination of things, holding the camera the wrong way, in a rush, trying to fit all the car in at an angle. Not my finest photography moment I noticed that just on the drive home, it feels way more planted? Might just be a placebo effect but I was certainly sold. I'll flick you a PM now, realistically I'd like to make my money back that I spent on the tyres at least but I don't know what kind of prices are good. Actually while the conversation's flowing, does anybody know where I could get my hands on an mtech 2 bumper for my E46? At this point I'm willing to buy another colour, sand it down and get it resprayed if I have to.
  16. Picked up some stagged motorsport wheels and tyres off an old friend for $100! Perhaps the find of the year? Gotta look at selling the LM reps now. How much would some 17x8 wheels with 3 month old tyres all round fetch me? I got, what I would consider as lowballed on facebook.
  17. Please forgive me if this has been discussed recently. I went around 3 pages deep and read some of the more relevant threads but I'm left with a few questions hopefully you guys can help me out Been thinking about it for ages, but at some point this year I'd like to lower the lady. It seems that coilovers aren't the recommended option for daily commuting when it comes to cost, certs and general ride comfort. So the most commonly talked about option seems to be the H&R sport springs? Is it worth PMing the forum sponsors for a price, or is there a place local (Im over the bridge, but willing to drive around town) that can sell me a set? How much roughly would a set cost? There seems to be a debate about using standard shocks vs aftermarket ones. Is it okay to do one at a time (i.e springs first and shocks a few months later)? Or should I be looking to put enough money aside to do both at the same time? As far as I've read it seems you can run stock shocks for a while, however they will fail sooner rather than later. Thanks in advance for any replies, and I apologise for my lack of knowledge! I did try and read up quite a bit before I posted Cheers Might as well add that I'm not really interested in the whole "slammed" look. But I'd love to clear that little gap between the wheels
  18. Used to see this almost daily parked up outside the leisure center in stanmore bay! Like the others have said, you really have to see it in the flesh to get the full experience. Those wheels look great on it!
  19. Similar usernames, similar cars! haha Welcome mate! Keep us updated on what you're up to with this car!
  20. Cheers ray, I'll pop in and see you in the next few days!
  21. Passenger door's not holding open and with a little bit of googling it seems the problem is the door brake. Looked around online and can only find ones in the US with the usual outrageous shipping prices. Is there anywhere around here I can find one for a decent price? If not I'll settle for buying online. Cheers.
  22. Pretty sure that's what it's called. I'll include a picture anyway, the plastic clips holding mine in have given up completely and its just sort of flapping around. I'll happily take a black, non scratched up trim with the window controls in it if you have one of them up for sale too. If you could let me know about the prices and stuff, on here or PM's good too. That would be awesome. Thanks heaps!
  23. Just chiming in to report my E46 does the same thing on hills too! From park to reverse, I rarely get a slight drop in revs/shudder when I put it into reverse, does anyone else experience that?
  24. Quick question for anybody that knows, how easy/difficult is it to install these? I'd like them for my 46, the stock height is just a little too high. Is it best to pay somebody to do it or can it be done on a driveway? Obviously pretty clueless here. Haha
