Check out histomobile.com as they have some info on the E30, or probably any car built as a fact. On the front page just click on the USA flag to change the language.

My aunty lives in rural Waikato, south of Hamilton, and she thinks there is an unmarked police van doing the rounds between Cambridge and Te Awamutu. Ever seen those roads? Straight as, out run it easy. Better hope theres no livestock or tractors around tho.I've passed a normal V6 Holden Rodeo (4wd too) and noticed the lights at the top of the dash. Nearly sh*t myself. They're f**king fast too!

Letter of the month in the latest Motor mag has some guy saying that because the government/s claim this isn't for revenue gathering, speeding fines should be paid out as a donation of your choice. Speaking of revenue gathering, theres a green Mitsi van with tinted windows parked down the road from my house right now

c'mon, these words are coming from people who drive Falcons. I'm not talking about new ones (cos they are pretty nice, at the moment, will turn to sh*t in a few years like the rest of 'em), but these people own older ones, that really only excel in seating four adults in comfort, thats all- they sound like sh*t, go like sh*t, are built like sh*t and handle like sh*t (AU Futura at least)That would be like someone from Somalia giving sh*t to our standard of living!

Stumbled upon this a few mins ago... some words from Falcon drivers f**k, if these knuckle-draggers wanna roll out the stereotypes, thats sweet, but they should remember that they, as drivers, would fit nearly every stereotype under the sun.

Haha might think of a good message over the week to send.f**k, this makes me ashamed to own a BMW!

Dunno about that. We took out a new Maxima a few months ago with around 200km on the clock and it was as smooth as silk at red line. That bloody salesman was thrashing the arse off it too. Never gunna buy a demo from that Nissan dealership, or as Andrew said, anywhere.

My feet are too big. Haven't tried double clutching either. Might try tomorrow. Truckies do it all the time tho.
-
Is that the ones from the dealership? I think my aunty still gets them when she got her E30 back in the 80s I was meaning tuner magazines, but I just haven't seen any for sale in this country Thanks for the offer though.

There are no plans for fwd. Unlike Jaguar What were they thinking? While they're at it, why don't they turn this V8 M3 into a mid-engine car as well Keep the I6. I like variety, and the reason I love the M3 so much is for the engine. Keep the V8s in the bigger 6 series coupes.

Are there any Bimmer mags for sale in NZ, similar to Street Commodore and Performance Ford? I suppose they are European or Aussie ones too. Haven't seen any in smaller bookshops or gas stations. I'm going on a long bus trip to the Waikato with school and need something good to read.

Did anyone see Police 10-7 last night where that stupid bugga in a Silvia was doing donuts in some nature reserve, and got his car confisated? Haha, he was nearly crying
-
Ok. Thanks for that. The timing was done a couple of months ago.

Well, the M10 isn't one to rev, you get to about 4000-4500 and feel its time to shift up. However, my one cuts out at 5000, and doesn't go to the red line, which doesn't seem right. Is this normal? If it isn't, any ideas why? Cheers

Perfectly said..I couldn't agree more. That is the way to lower the road toll, have decent first world roads, not the third world goat tracks that we currently have to put up with. Cheers hehe, yeah. I'm doing NZ Wars in History at the moment and SH1 from Auckland to Hamilton was dug in the 1860s by the poms. What f**ks me off the most is when some c**ts in the fast lane and isn't using it properly. Sitting on the same speed as everyone else and blocking up the motorway. They should get pulled over, not some poor bugga doing 120 kays. Take a look at some of the Autobahn driving video downloads. I've got one of an M3 ripping it down there, top speed and theres a car in his lane passing a truck. As soon as that cars pass the truck, it pulls over and lets the M3 pass. I'm f**ked if that happens often in NZ.

Yeah I am, haven't missed one yet too. Staying at my aunts which is south of Hamilton, a small farming town. However, I will not be taking my E30 up. I don't want a f**ked back!

I'd be gutted to get a fine for watching a race or burnout , and wouldn't putting diesel down actually protect the road as its sort of a lubricant, as opposed to doing it dry? Ohh yeah, say for example two 50 year old guy gets caught racing their Porches or upmarket BMWs, will their cars get impounded? Or just that law just apply for those young pricks driving rice?

Anything can be fun. Manual LS1 would be alright. The only V8 Holden I've driven is an auto 2002 SS ute which was down the motorway, and it wasn't bad. Like the falcon 2nd gear is far too tall, tops out at something around 140kmh however it least it had the guts to get there quoite quickly in comparison. Dunno what its like in the corners, but its a ute, and utes are f**king awesome Ford have really raised the bar with the BA, good to see them finally bringing a good product at that low cost which can match the Euros, while the new Accord and Maxima have seemed to follow, Holden too later in the year. Toyota on the other hand...

NZ Autocar said around 160kwGT3 says around 220hp

Yeah the bastards have stuck a bent 6 in it and lost the round tail lights. Two of the most legendary features of the Skyline gone.
-
I think he was meaning R32 or R33, they are at 160 or 170 kw stock anyway.
-
Hmmmm, they were on there when we left the dealer
