We are still waiting Matt I know there are going to be some very jealous people on here when the photos go up!
-
MASH (Matt) is the very first one to get a set of 17's and it looks tits! he has gone home to wash the car and will hopefully have photos soon
-
No worries
-
the Centre bores will need to be machined out to suit BMW and factory offset will probably be too high. I am not sure I have ever seen a 17" Steel Holden wheel either.
-
Is your car stil on bags? Sorry - not open on Sundays - we have to have some time off! Good question? Thesew ere made for the E30 series so they are definitely single piece and run the maximum allowable offset. Sure they may be heavier than the the Team Dynamics wheels but they are also a lot more affordable, which was the initial aim of making this race class. ET20 is not the correct offset for E36. We did not bring in any in this shipment for 5 series either sorry, and they can't be redrilled as tehy are actually 4x100 4x114.3 multifit. cheers

We are the best place to buy new wheels . Gold would look awesome against the blue! Tyres you can get directly through Toyo when you are registered for the series or come and see us for tyres. Do you mean the 6 spoke wheels that you see on series race cars? Just be careful as we have been told they bend rather easily.

Looking good Nath - stick with it!

Look what turned up this morning!!

We sell them and occasionally use them. There are 2 things that you must get absolutely right though for them to work properly. 1. The wheel must be hubcentric, this can be achieved by using a locating ring but you MUST use them. 2. Make sure you have plenty of thread on the bolts.

Dude, chill out, I thought you of all people would have realised it was a tongue in cheek comment. It was just a bit of friendly natured banter As other pople have said do what ever you want but just make sure you do it once and do it right.
-
dude you change your mind so many times I think you should just send the wheels back to me
-
haha - I have the perfect gift for you. A teaspoon of cement mix - so you can harden up 30 is nothing! OP: just don't read the threads - simple and problem fixed!
-
You also forgot that you need to have the seat so far reclined back you have to look through the gap between the dash and the steering wheel
-
Hi Cam as soon as we pull them out of the container I will be taking pics and weighing them. cheers Johno EDIT: BLOODY FOG!!!!! It closed the port down this morning because the cranes couldn't see where to pick up or put down the containers. Oh well. I guess when you have been waiting this long one more day doesn't matter!
-
Just a few more sleeps and these wheels will FINALLY be here. The ship is confirmed to berth tonight!
-
That would be Grant Aitken Motorsport. It cracked me up at Speedshow. Ford NZ had a big sign saying Ford Focus RS coming soon and just across the hall were 4 brand new examples. We have had a couple come into work and they are very very cool.

Hi Max the car is looking great. When you spin the rear wheel is it like a ticking sound? If so, the studs will be hitting on the handbrake cable on the inside of the hubs. The only real solution is to cut your studs down a bit shorter so you have clearance. You can do it yourself with a good hacksaw and a vice, it just takes some time. Make sure you put a nut over the thread as well so you don't damage it. cheers Johno
