    World Cup

Not necessarily. The All whites could be the only undefeated team if Spain win Seriously though , well done to the All Whites, lets hope football can kick on in this country now!
  3. Hi Rick Welcome to the forums. A 205/50/17 was an optioned tyre on some of the lower spec e46's. We have come across a few but it is quite rare. You should be running a 225/45/17 on your 330i. If the wheels are staggered motorsport wheels then it should be a 245/40/17 on the rear. Where are you located? I am sure we can hook you up with some new treads
  4. Put the Bridgestones at the front. In most cars the front tyres carry the majority of the load under braking. You will also have better steering.
  5. Definitely but the Bridgestones on the front and the Firestones on the rear. The front tyres do the majority of work (braking, steering etc) so you want the better quality ones at the front.

    WOF's & tyres

Are you a professional tyre fitter? There is a huge difference in sidewall height using the sizes you have just mentioned, over 40mm to be exact, and a big difference in the recommended width for those tyres. A 235/50/18 for example has a recommended width of 6.5 -8.5" rims whereas a 235/40/18 has an 8" - 9.5" recommendation. Sidewall height does matter, especially when you consider the majority of vehicles now run ABS and your ABS computer is programmed for a certain diameter tyre.
  7. It has more to do with the width of the rim and how the the tyre is seating. Your AC's are 8.5's aren't they? These are only 8" wide so you have made quite a change. These rims sit in about 8mm on the outside and a further 5mm on the inside compared to the old ones. In effect you have changed the track and this may explain why you are feeling so many differences.

    WOF's & tyres

As long as you can prove that the tyre width/rim combo is within the manufacturer's specifications you should be ok. Some over zealous WOF inspectors may require proof ( ie print off the Bridgestone sheet and take it with you). We have already had a few calls about this and so far the WOF inspectors have been wrong on at least a couple of occasions.
  9. PM Sent, 2 options available
  10. have pmed you too what ever you do DON'T buy Triangles, they are noisy, nasty and slippery ps: we have over 2000 tyres in stock!
  11. Pictures don't really do the wheels justice but here they are anyway. Specs are 17x8 5x120 ET38 Colours available are Gold, White and Gunmetal with a machined lip. cheers
  12. They are very expensive. Ours look to be the same but we have BBS logo's and are going to be at least $400 cheaper! we wil also be selling them individually for those that need them. Weight wise ours are not bad, very very close to OE specs.
  13. Synergy V8!! Very very light and revs to F*&K
  14. Yep see here: http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....24418&st=90
  15. We have some hopefully due to arrive in about a month. See the other topic in this forum for more details, cheers
  16. There is nothing wrong with the springs. the tyres you have on at the front are far too small for your car. You need the same size as the rear.
  17. Righto Time for an update and the news is not so flash........... it really is doing my head in From what I can gather from their very limited Englis,h the 15" wheels are ready but our other "special" wheels should be ready in the next week or so and this is what is holding the shipping up. We are now looking at a mid-June shipping date, and hopefully here BEFORE Speedshow.
  18. Your car is on bages right? You will struggle with the 9's but the 7.5's should be ok. The BBS reps are still on their way, don't speak to me about them atthe moment, I am getting rather annoyed with the factory
  19. All will be revealed tomorrow at 8.30 on TV3
