  1. Hi everyone We have just had a new shipment of tyres arrive called Altenzo. These are a brilliant tyre for the price conscious buyer. We believe you will not find a better tyre for the money. They have been designed and engineered in Australia and feature an assymetric tread pattern for low noise levels. They also have silica in them which improves fuel economy through lower rolling resistance, while still delivering great wet grip credentials. We have them available in a range of 17, 18" and 19" sizes which I have listed below. 17" 215/45R17 225/45R17 235/45R17 18" 225/40R18 235/40R18 245/45R18 19" 245/35R19 20" 275/40R20 315/35R20
  2. They are definintely not BBS. I am pretty sure they are one of our old styles which we bought in years ago. From memory the model code is P607
  3. It is only about 1.5mm total and the offsets are identical
  4. It is always hard to put a price on these sorts of things. Even though they are a recognised brand to BMW enthusiasts to Joe Average they are just another wheel. I would say at least $500 to sell.
  5. They will if you change the tyres and you will possibly have to bore the centres out slightly
  6. What model BMW are they off? Are you selling wheels and tyres or wheels only?
  7. Very very easy. Release the hand brake first. Undo the shock bolt and then pry the spring out. It shouldn't take more than 10 minutes per side
  8. This is exactly why I recommend the Toyo's. They are very very quiet and wear very well. Although not as grippy as the T1R, every customer who has put them on has been very impressed. This ranges from a E55 AMG through to a Mitsi Galant.
  9. This is the best advice so far. While the initial investment may be quite high, you will save money in the long run. As sure as apples are apples you wil destroy a set of road tyres in one track day. Multiply that by 5 and all of a sudden a second set of wheels and tyres doesn't look so bad. We just had a customer absolutley destroy a set of new 18" conti's at a track day. He assured us he would be driving "softly" but in the end the red mist came down and he blew a tyre out on the way home. This customer is now "investing" in a 2nd set of rims and track day tyres!

    [MY E30]

Buy our reps I am sure everyone agrees how cool they look. Anthony's (Flake) car looked awesome at the meet!
  11. The C1S is gradually replacing the CT01 in most sizes and is a huge step forward from the CT01. If you are looking at going directional it is well worth spending the extra money to go to the T1R over the PX4. The reason I initially recommended the C1S is because the Falken are also asymmetric. I am not sure whythe OP threw the MY01 into the mix as they really are a massive step down from the other tyres that he was looking at.
  12. yep that was us. Take a serious look at the new Toyo C1S, they are an excellent tyre and very well priced.

    E39 Love

Just a comment that was overheard when you were in here speaking with your mate No drama's
  14. And here I was thinking Corolla's were dime a dozen Have you taken into account the width of the wheel as well? Will you be using the same width? I take it the wheels you have found are the Ford Focus/Mondeo wheels

I thought you were buying some wheels off Trade Me??
  16. what size tyre are you looking for?
  17. we have lots more new stuff arriving soon
  18. Lucky for you they don't fit an E39
  19. Correct. Most of the wheel we import for 3 series BMW are in that offset range. E46 do have big guards and the factory wheel does tend not to fill out the guards that well. This is because of the combination of the offset and the relatively narrow wheels they come out on factory. BTW: Welcome to the forum, car looks really good.

You have actually timed you purchase very well as we have a whole new range arriving very soon. Seth @ Car Folie sponsors the Appearance section of the forum and offers great deals on tinting cheers Johno
  22. Hi Albert if they are the same width front and rear then they more than likely will not be genuine unless the previous owner bought 4 front wheels for an M3. The easiest way to tell is if they are different widths then they will be genuine. Pop some photos up with the specs. There should be something stamped in the back with regards to the width and also an offset. ( it will prob show as ET followed by two numbers)
  23. Good looking car but could you please resize your photo? GLWS
  24. Happy Birthday Brian, hope you have a good one!
  25. Looking very cool Ray. Should be a great moving billboard
