  1. Add another half inch, id rock 17x9s.. offset would have to be pretty accurate though for e30s.

Haha - there is always one that want's that little bit more. I am just trying to get some more accurate specs from the manufacturer. They are trialling the moulds this week.

    edit: spelling

  2. Hi guys and gals

Our factory that makes the 15" Basketweave replicas is also talking about 17x7.5 and 17x8.5. I don't have any info on offsets as of yet.

Now I am not entirely convinced there would be enough of a market for it. Bear in mind we have to generally ahve to order a minimum of 60pces of any one size and stud pattern.. It would be interesting to hear all your thoughts.

    cheers.

edit: tried to make my thoughts a bit clearer

  3. Sheesh Flanders, take a chill pill. Your PMS is showing.

Leave it on topic aye. I am getting sick ( as I am sure are others) of all the pointless posts that are rapidly turning this forum into total nonsense and are not really helping the original posters who ask for advice. A bit like your post really. :P If you can help by all all means do so.

Anyway back OT - I think Andrew has got a few ideas on how to solve his problem.

  4. Alpina`s (genuine) that don`t rub. Staggered with 225`s on the back.

    How is that helpful?

You just stated that they don't rub - whippee doo!! :P

I can also show you plenty of cars with wheels that don't rub. How about we try and help the man out rather than just post up meaningless pictures?

Andrew - a 205/40/17 would be a better option for you tyre wise as it will give you a bit more room away from the guards. However, it made sense to use the tyres you currently had as they are all just about brand new. We haven't had any trouble with the wheels previously but I think that is because we have generally run a 20/40/17 on them.

Probably your cheapest and easiest option will be to roll the guards before it gets painted. You might also want to take a look at the condition of the shocks and the bushes because if they are worn out it will give you more body roll and movement in the arms etc.

    cheers

  5. Rather than start a new thread i think i'll just jump on Graham's band wagon.

Johnno, How much am i looking at for a 215/35/18, not to fussed about brand, so long as it's not crap (ie. fullrun) ,

I'm running 205/35/18 toyo's at them moment and they seem to be pretty good.

+100 to bravo on the negative camber, grrr

    How many are you after?

I have a few Nexen N3000 lying around at $189 each couriered to you or Dunlop Sport Maxx at $229 each couriered.

    cheers

    Johno

  6. Haha I know some good English classes you could attend to assist you in understanding those "little things" that may challenge you, PM for details lol - just giving you a bit of stick btw man so don't think I'm hating on your or anything but seriously... it does actually make sense to everyone i have reassuringly asked so far

Haha nothing wrong with my English understanding, in fact it seems to a lot better than yours. I know the difference bewteen a "pole" and a "poll" :P . Even my university degree says so :P:P .

BTW Poll topic should be Should I have the car with or without eye lids? or Should I have the car with or without eye lids? if you want to be gramatically correct :P

It's all good man, was a quiet afternoon at work so I felt like stirring a little and knew you would take it as a the good natured ribbing it was intended to be :D

  7. Poll.

Haha - I saw the topic title and was like WTF is an eyelid pole? My wife is a beautician and it sounds like something she would use!

And just to be really pedantic your poll says Should I have the car with or without eye lids? It doesn't make any sense.

No I shouldn't have the car with or without eyelids??????

Ohhhhhh farrrk yeah! I should have the car with or without eyelids????

    :wacko::wacko::wacko::wacko::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Anyway back OT - take them off. :D

I voted no. Then you can give the car to me because the poll reads as "No I shouldn't have the car"
