Does anyone else get all excited about changing the month on their Bimmersport calendar so they can look at a different vehicle?
-
Come on now, No offers put a price on it!
and where is the picture?
Is it one rule for the moderators and another for the rest of us?
-
Just need a few things cleared, do they have any dish like these below and do they have center caps?
I am still waiting for actual pictures, we have 3d renders at the moment. As soon as I get some I will post them up

What about a "saked BMW from a wreaker"
http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-245083867.htm
It has 17" wide rims
and the cambelt has been done

Who in their right mind trades in Type IV's???? One of the best wheels ever - esp on e36.
We trade them more often than you would think. A lot of people don't realise what they have.
-
just a few trades that we need to move on
We can negotiate with Bimmersport members
18" AC Schnitzer Type IV - suit 5 series

16" 3 series wheels and tyresSOLDhttp://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-245081902.htm

don't think it does

Is that free advertising hes giving you on the drivers door ? (Mag & Tyres Direct)
Must be
That should have all been removed by now - I would say the photos are quite old.
-
Noob question but are they the same wheel as on trademe ? they look slightly different.
I think the offsets must be different so it gives the ones in the BMW pic a more dished look. I have to agree with Jib - they look pretty plain and boring especially when you look at the Trade Me photo.
-
And you sponsor him too Johno ??
No we don't.
I know hp isn't everything but to get to that time you need big hp down the back straight at Puke. I agree it is a fast car but there is a big difference between 1.02 and 1.05 at Puke. It is a well sorted car for something that doesn't have a full rollcage hence my apprehension at it doing 1.02. That is faster than Mr Delmont!

Hmm, I wonder if this guy exaggerates much
1.02 round Puke is F'n fast, esp when you only have 400hp. I have a mate who has an Evo 9 track car that doesn't go that fast, and it has more hp and mods. A few months back there was a 700hp GT-R that was just cracking into the 1.02's.
Someone should negotiate with him - for every second slower it is than what he says take off $5k
If it is that quick someone should buy it - it's a bargain

seems the petition has closed and the matter resolved??????

Bugger that barefoot angle-grinding
HAHA was just thinking that. A real man always goes bare feet but a hard man uses Nylon safety pants

Can you do a wheel at tire package for a staggered fitment? very keen to sort something out
definitely. It may be easiest just to send the wheels to our chch branch for you and they can get them all fitted up etc. you are running aftermarket brakes aren't you? we have to do a trial fit first.
-
I also clench my teeth for potholes that i can't avoid and usually lift myself off the seat a bit at the same time
^+1
+2 on the even aircon temps - even if it is not my car!
I also just about come to a stop anytime I turn into a driveway, and then creep up slowly until all 4 wheels are on the drive and then speed up again.

^ Just book it in to Glenn's and get him to give it a proper inspection, your just going to get more guesses by less qualified people until somebody actually looks and can diagnose what is wrong with it.

UPDATE:
I have just been speaking to the factory in China and unfortunately they are still casting samples, so it means the wheels wil be arriving later than expected.
I should have a definite ETA in the next few days along with pictures.
The upshot of all of this is that I won't be taking any deposits - I have 60 of each colour on order so it should be enough to satisfy initial demand. I have created a list of people that will have first option on them when they arrive and will be letting these people know when the wheels are ready. So far the list is:
Silver Fox
Forrest
CamB
Grunt5
Drifit
Jamez
Indecorous
APT
M3 Cab
FrazAtack
Cheers
