Two old guys with alzheinmers are sitting in the rest home when one says: "I feel like an icecream." The other guys says " I feel like one too - I will go down to the dairy and get them" First guy says "Make sure you write down Hokey Pokey Ice-cream cos I know you will forget. I want a choc bar in my ice-cream too, but for f's sake write it down!.... oh and some hundreds and thousands on my ice-cream.....but WRITE IT DOWN!! So the 2nd guy disappears off to the dairy to get the icecreams. FIVE hours later he returns with 2 mince pies............ First guy says "I KNEW IT!" "You forgot the sauce" edit for spelling

haha an oldie but a goodie.......still makes me laugh

It really depends on what you predominantly want the tyre for. If you want a track tyre use the Toyo R888, being a semi-slick tyre it is still road legal, but not really recommended for wet weather driving. If you want a road tyre then as Penry said there has been plenty of debate about them on other parts of this forum.
-
Why did you put on much lower profile tyres? Not only are you putting your speedo out but will potentially affect the ABS and gearbox.
-
245/40/17 is the correct OE size tyre for the rear, and 225/45/17 is also th correct OE size for the front of your staggered motorsport wheels. IE, don't change them

haha - and the wheels haven't even landed yet!!

UPDATE: Looks like 2 sets have now been sold - only 1 set left!!!

something like this? http://broomfish.co.nz/index.php?cPath=22_38_74_76 These guys are the agents and are located in Auckland. I may be able to get it slightly cheaper as we have a trade account with them cheers Johno

+1 If you end up with the LCD make sure you get 1080p - this is full high def. A mate of mine had a plasma and used it for gaming lots, however some of the pixels ended up burning out because he left the game on pause for too long. Strange but true.

Nice work Bravo, I suggest you also send that letter to the commerce commission as I think they have more "teeth" when it comes to this sort of thing. Definitely go to JC or Fair Go! -
what size are you after? We get pretty sharp deals on the Toyo's.
-
UPDATE: wheels are leaving this week so wil be here before Xmas. The price to Bimmersport members is $800 for a set of 4. I have already sold one set so only 2 sets left. Cheers Johno

The best tyre by far is the new Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric - of course you pay a bit more for them as well. The CT-01 has been designed as a 'touring' tyre, it is very quiet but I wouldn't class it as a 'performance' tyre. It all depends on what you want from a tyre.

wash out your potty mouth! You know you love those 16's!!
-
We have AC Schnitzer style kits in stock if you are serious.
-
no sorry, the 16's were gone before we got a chance to buy them. We were very lucky to get the sets of 17's.

Hi guys and gals It looks like we have managed to secure 3 sets of 17" Alpina replicas for E30. I only have the specs at the moment which are 17x7.5 ET25 4x100 Silver. Sorry the picture is pretty low quality, I should have pricing and ETA by the end of next week. Cheers Johno EDIT: Pic update
-
nice wheels!!! I think I met you when I was down in chch many months ago when you came into our store. cheers johno
-
Pop in and see Brain or Joel in our NP store on Molesworth store. Tell them Johno sent you in and they will look after you, cheer.
-
Our 235/35/19's are $240 including. You have probably been quoted on a cheap Nankang or similar - Nexen are far superior tyres. You better be quick though as our last shipment has just about run out, the next shipment is due next week, but due to the weakening dollar prices have gone up about 30%!
-
what size wheel are you after? We have quite a few sets in stock that will fit. We also have special studs that can alter the pcd up to 2.5mm. cheers Johno
-
I have brand new Nexen N3000 in stock at $360 each incl fitting and balancing, cheers.

I live in Epsom and I can get to New Lynn in under half and hour in the morning. It is a pretty central suburb and close to everywhere, and we have Cornwallpark 5 mins walk, 15 min drive to the city, 15 mins to Mission Bay.
