dropped a 7 series down in hamilton today and was going to pick it up at the same time. Car is very very rough, All the ignition is missing, paint is crap( half the panels don't match) and front spoiler broken, and that was just the things I could see straight away. The photos really don't accurately show what is wrong with the car, and there was no interior photos the first time.I didn't really want the car in the first place, and thought it was kind of weird that the top bidder was removed only hours before the auction ended. They guy down there was pretty sweet about the whole thing especially since I gave him $50 to cover success fees and listing fee. Probably only really worth $400 - $500. Nice enough guy though, could be a cheap PROJECT for someone but I don't have the time or inclination to get it right - far too much work for me.

HI the black wheels are only avaialble in 18x8.5's price will depend on tyres, but bimmersport members eill enjoy 'trade pricing'. PM if genuinely interested, thanks
-
yah reckon? looks like a whole lot more work than the one I just bought
-
going to pick it up this weekend and trailer it back to Auckland, anyone want a towbar? maybe I should keep it so I can put the MTB's on the back and head to woodhill!
-
will post a proper pic up tomorrow, here is a one for now though
-
that was exactly my thought as well. I think I will fix it up then keep as a driver for a while! lowered, wheels the usual, may have to tint as well - project coming up me thinks
-
slapped a bid on it and was outbid, then for some reason the leading bidder withdrew. hope it is as good as the guy reckons it is http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=124811961

yeah 17 x7 at 35 will work - just, really don't want to go any bigger than 17's. I have a set of 16's in stock I need to sell cheers Johno

container is in the country we will be unloading on Tuesday
-
haha they were supposed to have a set of 28" wheels last year, they imported them into the country along with tyres and the realised that no one in the country had a tyre machine cappable of fitting them, LMAO. They spent 3 days running around Akld trying to find a machine. guessed they learned their lesson this year tho and imported them fitted up - pity the fool that buys them then realises he can't buy tyres - just like a few 'trucks' rollin round on 26's

I have a dealer plate you can borrow - however I will have to be present with the plate

go to you Tube and search "E36 Judd V8" or "george plasa's". Turn up the voulme sit and back and enjoy. I just wasted nearly an hour looking at the all the clips! even better search for "judd v8", the hillclimb benz 190e vids are awesome!! maybe a project coming along in the future

haha this was a classic!!! I bought a cheap $49 entertainment unit from the warehouse about three years ago, then $1 reserved it when I didn't need it any more. Went for $78 in the end, and then I saw the EXACT same item in a warehouse flyer a week later for $49. They guy who bought it was stoked!! It's not my problem if you can't be bothered getting off your a$#e and finding the true value of something]

should always use autobid - hasn't failed me yet! I get pissed at trademe for removing auctions when you put your contact details so someone can come and look at what you have for sale. If it is a big ticket item - eg LCD TV, it is reasonable to expect people will want to see it before bidding. Retard Me's answer? "make sure you have plenty of good photo's and an accurate description" C'MON!!

cool Mark has 4 225/35/19 Eagle F1'S IN STOCK, you could have had them today
-
pop in and see mark in our store in Petone (Mag and Tyre Direct), super nice guy (for an aussie - lol) tell him Johno sent you in and you need 'trade' pricing. he wil be able to help you out. He should have some in stock - Yes a tyre store that carries big tyres - unbelievable I know!We do a lot of these SLK's on 18's and generally run a 225/40 and 255/35 rear hence it was logical to suggest the 225/35 and 255/30. Anyway good luck with finding tyres, hopefully we can sort something out for you.

yep I'm the wheel and tyre guy, just going through the process of sponsoring the forum now. Keith who had teh BMW rents some of our warehouse for his Jamex stuff, cheers
-
that's at my work!! haven't had a good look over it myself yet but seems ok, A few bumps and bruises but then again it is a 14 year old car. Keith is a pretty straight up guy normally. It has the normal e36 traits split seats etc, he reckons it runs ok too, for the money I don'tthink you can go wrong!

Best way to lower 1996 E36 Coupe??
zenetti replied to charlie01's topic in Brakes, Suspension & Steering
that's a bit harsh - I know heaps of people who use Jamex and are very happy with them, we use them in alot of the cars we do, and have had no come backs or problems. -
just got word today kits have been delayed - some hold up in Singapore apparently (the boat was docked and unloaded the wrong containers). They should be here around the 10th ogf November and should be under the price above. Wil get pics asap cheers Johno
-
M6 reps wil suit your 330 better, the picture is of a 330 coupe by the way! these wheels both 8.5" so may be a bit of a tight fit on the compact
-
I reckon you should just lower the fronts too, will give it a nice even look. We can roll the gurads for you if you like, it may take a while though you saw how busy we get haha. We have the proper guard rolling machine. Maybe I could do it on a saturday morning for you after hours? Just remember to get all that sh*t out of the guard before you roll it
-
unsure of costs at moment - just depends how much duty they decide to sting us (Clark Helen and Mother Cullen are thieving b$st%*ds) should have pictures soon - just google E36 M3 same bumpers and s'skirts
-
