  5. thats why i like (and sometimes hate) westpac, you go in and talk to them, they sort it out for you in person, although ur not actually dealing with the insurer its still better than talking over the phone.

  9. feel your pain!! same kinda thing happend to my old car, but everything is fixable, honda wouldnt have survived that.
  10. Never go to hotwire, i've been installing my own, and other peoples sounds for 2 years now, ive fixed jobs that hotwire have done, and some of them arent bad workmanship, their just ignorant mistakes, the problem is, all their installers quit, and they let their apprentices go nuts on whatever comes in, the last I remember a head deck install costs $100 bux??? Why??? I do not know, it takes 20 minutes if you A: have a multimetre, or a simply test light and B: have cables. MOST CARS HAVE CABLES!@!!!! Could be wrong as this was when the old owner was still around, having said all this, if anyone wants a head deck installed or anything for that matter, gimme a shout and ill help you out, always happy to help for freeee lol. Cheers. P.s, the reason they have a "decent" name in the industry, is because, come showtime, like autosalon they pou their heart and soul in to destroying, then rebuilding the boot of some waggon that needs a ridiculous amount of amps, tv's playstations and subs to win a show, they do a good job on these things, because they get a couple things... paid through the NOSE, pircks, free entry to all kinda things discounts just about everywhere simply because they did the work on the show cars. which they got paid heaps for. which makes them not care about anything under the value of a stupid amount of money.

    Jeans

stubbies combined with mullet and greased stained singlet coming from the mouth completes the outfit...
  12. yes reliable, but old cars break more than newer cars, always remember that, be prepared to fix things if need be... its almost innevitable and there has been work done on the car, so therefore it isnt standard anymore, check it all out before you make a decision,
  13. good thing i win on both accounts lol, over 18 with full
  14. ah, that would make sense, cheers for that! as I said it didnt bother me really just curious, Cheers! lol its always up loud!!!
  15. thats restricted though, learners, has learner plates, and cant drive without a full license driver whos had their license for over 2 years... so wouldnt you have to insure the full license driver as well or something???
  16. its gonna be interesting, I mean, no traction control, whats next??? they might actually have to take off at the line by themselves, instead of letting the computer do it for them.

    Jeans

i had some going out jeans until recently, gift from the missus, abercrombie and fitch jeans, they were through the roof in price but lasted me for ever... and now, that their finally starting to get worn, theyve become my working on stuff jeans, my jeans change jobs depending on age and wear lol.
  18. Ive had similar experiences like the wrx one, lol good sh*t, and yea lots of japa skylines and silvias with massive exhausts wanting to show off. pisses me off big time.
  19. all electrics are working fine, definately coming from centre, it SOUNDS like its behind the temperature rotational switch, and changes pitch when i turn on the fan, the higher the setting the lower the pitch goes... but in saying that all electrics work sweet as.
  20. is this shortening standard shocks??? any places in auckland as I am also after this.
  21. i bought mine for $2.6 good condition, 132 thou k's next to no rust, power steering, 4dr sunroof, good interior, couple marks on exterior, Manual is rarer to find, but people will be wary of second engine put in (human nature) springs and mags will attract less of a general public IE springs and mags will attract more younger people that want a readily done up car, if it were standard it would attract a whole lot more people (IN MY OPINION, feel free to shoot me down) like collectors and people who wish to restore cars, But if its mint, manual and overall good condition.. im gonna take a stab in the dark and taking into account the mods.. id say round $4000???
  22. is it even possible to get insurance on learners???? that would mean, that if u had a crash and your driving alone it would be void?

    Jeans

warehouse jeans for screwing around in... their quite cheap and again, save levi's for going out... like driving pants, as opposed to ripping things apart pants.
  24. ... ive always had the total opposite drilled into me??? let it warm up sitting still, and once its warmed up a bit start driving gently, once its fully warm no worries...
  25. hey, yeah it's very similar it sounds like it's coming from the stereo as well, that's what i meant by in dash umm it does go away but I can't tell if it's me not hearing it anymore or if it's gone apart from pitch it sounds like the same type of problem. cheers!
