255/40r18 is quite large, I dont know if spacers plus rolling guards would be good, they'd stick out alot, (has anyone else had experience with this) what did u mean by estimated cost?? of what?
-
could be paint, or clumped up dust or dirt, something like that, or possibly burnt rubber from previous tyres, meths or something like that should take it off, are your mags currently painted??? cos if not it shouldnt damage them, i COULD BE WRONG but if their not painted should be fine,
-
agree with the above, ive had that problem with my wheels (the mags themselves) being to wide and they rubbed on my suspension so I cudnt use them even with low profiles, was annoying, maybe it could just be width???

that sticker is country representative, D = deutchland. -
Problem is, I dont have a 5, or a 7, or a new 3, I have an old series 3 like lots of people do, I do however THINK i got lucky with my twin in and twin out exhaust can we confirm this someone?? lol. the exhaust in my opinion is not perfect, it changes shapes, diverges and merges, and flattens into 2 VERY small pipes, im sure the newer ones have much improved systems, and the reason for twin pipes in my opinion is not clearance, its 6 cylinders, more breathing obviously for 2 more cylinders,
-
so basically, removing the catty or whatever is there in its place, would not affect tuning??? if im getting this correctly that is... then can someone explain to me why my pipes flatten towards my exhaust if at that point it doesent matter what you do to the pipes, its obviously constricting the exhaust.
-
hah! ill look after it tooo.....
-
or better yet, gift it to me

hear hear!

pit stop once did a good job, but thats was on a1988 ford cortina, so not much credit goes there lol.
-
damn those self un screwing and self threading screws, their really annoying when they do that, if i didnt know better, id say some moron at pitstop screwed it all up and lied about it, but I do know beter, and I do know that those screws always unscrew and always cross thread themselves on their own, didnt you??? lol.
-
im sorry, "pitstop" does not feature in my vocabulary any longer albany is way out of my way for simple repairs, atleast i could walk from kelston, by the time i got home from albany id have been arrested for walkin on the motorway hahaha
-
lol, always be honest with grinding up cams! its not nice when their not right haha, gotta have a good balance, whereabouts is this place?? and roughly how much does he charge?

I had a cat5 cable set up all through my house (2 laptop's, 2 desktops) all wall jacks etc etc, running under house, recently got a new switch, ran cat6 cabling and ive just put a switch centrally located under the house which has a wireless access point connecting to it, this beams up to the laptops, and cabling still works, laptops are then mobile, and security is not wep etc, just mac adress access.... i can go technical, but everyones done that already im just adding my 2 cents. bottom line, cables good, wireless good, fast internet, good. entire house wired up to each others computer handy

i completely agree. -
this is true, i have built up quite a repore with my local mech, after several cars have done bad things to themselves.. or maybe i did them to them?? lets not discuss, he has fixed them all, and always done a good job, the more money I go there the less it seems to get and like your guys, he doesent question, straight after pitstop, i drove to him, I told him what i wanted, he said yep, $60 bux I can do it now if u want, how good is that? I cant just rely on him as he is a mechanic, and hes not perfect although hes good I need to find other places as well, and recomendations?? man i was so pissed off at the ppl at pitstop u have no idea !!!

completely, upsetting back pressure is possible, but what u dont know, is germany has a law, infact all of europe doesw, which makes the catt MANDATORY so their built like that factory SO, race cars obviously arent worrying about their emissions, they want to win dont they?? i dont think the back pressure will be upset.. another strange thing, is my pipes flatten partway along the car, they properly flatten, not just bent, they get quite thin and close together, before they reach the exhaust they go bak to normal size lol.
