Haha, trusting fellow then, money is a common one we come across all the time too.

The overheating prob when left idling would be the viscous fan not working, if they said thats normal for E30s then they're talking sh*t. No car with a good all round cooling system should overheat when idling. If you persist on getting a "professional" to do the work you're better off taking it to BMW as they know these cars and the common faults that come with them. As Gus said, do the radiator, fan and possibly the water pump.

I second that point of removing all personal items from vehicles, i remember we once got accussed of stealing a ladys ring from her car whilst in for a service, there was a bit of a debate for a while then all went quiet.....i think she must have found it I also found two empty condom wrappers when removing a seat from an old 405 haha.

As i stated in a previous post my cars running a bit rich, took it in to Jeff Greys and was quoted $800 to balance all 6 cylinders, approx 8 hours to do so.

It just seems once a month the police have to be bagged on this forum, we should all know by now that the people on here that get pulled up were not doing anything wrong, its the police who pick on them. You guys need to pull your heads in. -

Ha heres me thinking i could plug and play, might just keep the original piece and do the remapping. I think the 243KW was measured at the flywheel though.

Bonnet goes to the front, doors go in appropriate holes and boot lid to the rear, hope that helps, just shout out if ya need more assistance haha.I'm sure it'll all come back when you start assembling. Can't wait to see the finished product. You keeping the same wheels?
