Trademe has most certainly become ridiculously over priced but honestly, I can't see any alternative even coming close at this stage. Sella does not come across as an organization who have the vision and funding to take on trademe. They still have a long way to go and the website lacks the polish to truly compete. E-bay will never work in NZ in my opinion. Mr. Sam Morgan has set the bar so bloody high when it comes to ruthless usability that Auntie Jane and Uncle Bob would rather scrape their eyes out with a butter knife than jump on something as hideous as e-bay. The truly sad thing is that e-bay can't do sh*t about it either even if they wanted to as they have an INTERNATIONAL user base.. they would cop enough flack changing the "Buy Now" button from orange to green let alone re-working the entire structure! Now... if e-bay were to say invest in a particular sella... we may have something on our hands

You really want to send a PM to Matt "ecko_complex" or dig up his old threads. He has spent lots of time and $$ turbo'n his M3 and I think it's still very much a work in progress. I hope you have deeeeeep pockets as there is a truck load of custom work to be done. Having said that, once it is.. what a weapon !

I would recommend letting the market decide man, chuck it on for 10k no reserve and see what happens. Would not be surprised one bit if it went for 13k+ (provided it's as tidy as you say it is). I had mine up for only a few days before it sold and had to turn down 2 others who were willing to pay my asking price of 15k by the time I had removed the auction. Just bare in mind the car was sold with all the extras I had which would have easily added up to 3k of goodies. Auction it! Good luck ps same deal when I had mine for sale.

I have SE side skirts on mine though, don't they use the same fittings to clip on? EDIT: take that back looks like skirts fit under that so my car will need the holes and the other car will need them plugged up!

Right, so some panel beating will need to be done where those holes are filled and painted. Any chance you have a photo of what it will look like in that state so I can get a quote from my panel beater?

Has anyone clearly documented the procedure of removing a Tech-II kit? I would like to get a good idea of how hard it will be to strip everything from a Tech-II fitted car and restoring it to a standard state. As you have probably guessed, I have stumbled on the perfect donor for my car (same color and everything!). The catch here is the car is not a wrecked and I will need to swap everything from mine onto it so it's good as new again. Cheers.
