Its ok guys , it was xmas after all. But i did manage to con the misses into helping me............ Edit : I ment ( bonding with the misses )

It was the throw out bearing , had moved 90deg, practice makes perfection........

today installed new engine mounts,gearbox mounts, swing support bracket ,fanbelt ,alternator rubber bush thingys some pics

Well i struggled on my own, took about 15mins of pushing, heaving twisting and lots of f's and b's but I got it in . Everything all bolted up and in place for testing !!!!!. Pushed the clutch down slowly and it got to the 3/4 mark and i heared this binding noise??. Question 1: would this be a resolt of the throw out bearing falling out of the clutch fork when i put the gearbox in place Question 2: if the bearing has fallen off would the gearbox have mated up to the engine nice and neat Question3 : can i fix it without taking it all out again Question 4: have i missed something else car runs OK , its just went i use the clutch. thanks

Ok, so started the process of taking the box out of the E30 today . Got every thing undone and off ready for the box's removal but i've come to the conclusion that i cant do it on my own.I dislocated my shoulder a few months back and still dont have the strength to pull it out and put the new one in. Can anyone give me a hand in the next few days or so. Just need a lift out and a lift in 2hours max. can pay in beers

have a look at beachlands , silverdale millwater areas both are with in a hr of the CBD. Beachland will take off in the near future there are big plan under way.

Its all part of the govnments master plan , that once the roads are so conjester with commuters traving at the same speed thay'll then introduce toll roads(private) that will allow you/us to drive at a greater speed and we will lap it up and say "THANK YOU BOSS" like good little citizens.

im after a car rotisserie for when i start working on the e36 midish next year . Theres one on TM for $1700 but i dont realy what to buy one . Im looking to borrow/ hire for 2-3 months can anyone here help out. Rich

just a quick update (and because this is on page three) , not too much building going on but i am "squirreling" parts away went with the BC racing coilovers solid bush kit from turner motorsport 6 speed box new wheel bearings ,tierod,etc...... z3 sterring rack brakes are coming early next year ... XYZ.. may even pull the car shell out mid next year , dust it down and make a start.
