i can vouch for all the gear, i have and owned all the range of the ID gear, and think it's awesome. I have a fair few amps for sale tht can work with any of these subs. will update in for sale section.

yeah man, you have gone created a 328 the way BMW should have dont from the start. Good work. I would like to see this thing in the flesh. What Box did you use for your manual conversion?
-
PM, i can talk you about it, i know just thing speakers, and they will sound awesome, Will find out if there is any stock left.
-
I would tend to agree with MS BM. If i could have an E46 i would have just about like that, but black interior and standard bonnet, with polished or matt painted Lm's not Chrome. 330d rules FTW. I would also prefer the Auto like this, Manual diesel Chipped is a pain to drive. In town at least.

something else you can thing of doing, is the following. Do a fibreglass mould of the factory unit, cut and edit as you like, personally i would mount the speakers grills in there and have it flush with the new moulded kick panels. It's pretty easy really.

you have PM sir.

very nice convertable. Been keeping an eye on since it came on trademe. Does the roof leak at all?
-
so what is Jeff's (new owner of Gus's Turbo'd 318is) post name?
-
The reason you would have heard where the sub is coming from, would be due to the Frequency you crossed the subs at, somewhere between 100 - 125hz. It will straight away. Localize the sub. But then also not having a enough midbass from front speakers can also give you that illusion. What Rogan, has offer in advice, would work well for a few of the E30 guys that have the ski pass in them. As for the the physics, yeah that is technically correct. Or Electrically correct. But when it comes to sound, it falls upon Acoustics. The spare wheel sub mount is a very good idea, which leaves you with a full usable boot. As for the spare wheel issue, there is no law. As VW golf R32, has no spare wheel or jack at all. Lotus Elise neither and many more. So it cannot have a proper basis. But this for Audio Advice.

really, i thought Guz, decided not to sell the turbo'd 318is?
-
my bad, i could not remember which way around it was.

there are a few choice you have, i think you need to make sure what ever you choose and know what positive or short comings you have. I know you do want to keep your factory radio but i can honestly recommend an upgrade.

lol, i can so see it. But serious for a second, is it still true that the SA import equivalent model has more power or more rev happy than Jap or NZ model? I know this use to rain true on the E30's.
-
very nice m-tech 1?
-
how do the part numbers relate into RHD for us in NZ. surely these part numbers would be for LHD or not?
-
thanks elmarco. yeah cant get the coupe, i like them the most just not practical. Hence i'm trying to get a touring over anything else, but if the right 318, 325, 330 then i will most likely get it.
-
thanks for the reply's Glen - they make something other than Diesel or 98? lol, yeah know about higher octane Ok so what is the size tank on these cars. I'm really trying to dedermine which model i should go for. 325 - 330. I would prefer a wagon, I meant to say Touring (sorry). But just curious, i had a modified GTI golf cost me around $85 to fill around town i got 480 - 550 on the open road i got 650ish. So just trying to work out which one i should go for. I would prefer manual but it does appear to come with a premium.

what kind of mileage do you get on a tank of gas and how big is your gas tank? M318, M320, M325, M328, M330, Also which models have cambelts and which have chain? I know the 330 has Chain, what about the rest? Decided i'll be looking at E46's in the next week or two. If i like them i'll narrow i down to which model and pec i want.
-
i'm 99.9% sure they did not pay a sent over 11-12K for this car.
-
well i'm waiting for Gus to come back to NZ so i can go have a look at this awesome looking machine.
-
does this car, now have black basket weaves or BBS wheels on? Or are they the same silver as to when Andrew owned it?
-
what offset are these wheels?
-
RE Components are now gone. Have some speakers, Subwoofers and Amplifiers still forsale.
-
thanks for the update. As i still have not moved from my GTI yet. I would be unable to get this fantastic looking car. Good luck with the sale. Still cannot believe it has not sold.
