On a bit of a sidetrack (hope you dont mind, I will PM you if you want, just think this might be useful in general for people thinking of chipping/messing with ECU), superchips.co.nz claim an increase of 10kw, what are your thoughts on this? -

Thanks, if you don't mind, can you give me a rough estimate of pricing for the tune and the MAP-ECU2 equipment etc? Cheers. -

Thats impressive, good job. How exactly do you do this map-ecu etc. I remember you bringing it up once before, but i'm still a little puzzled. Does it reprogram existing ecu or what? Regards, Ian. -
I might be interested depending on what they are bma.e36, let me know what you find/think.

Where did you order from? I believe germanplates.co.nz do not provide the kiwi flag stickers etc
-
Very good question, I havn't seen these in person, only pics. Can someone explain a bit please?

Hey all, I might have an opportunity to obtain some throwing stars, unsure if they are legit (probably not), but I have a few questions. How much do you reckon would be a reasonable price for replicas? I'm unsure how much to offer for them.

I guess it is a BMW forum, enough said, haha. I personally think it sounds like a decent car, looks ok, nothing to boast about personally. edit* typos

Thanks . Mate that is seriously quick.

I believe Ray from Hellbm had one for sale a little while ago...my mate picked it up for $500 (318i auto, soon to be manual). He's slowly in the process of fixing it up. Great little things , all the best with your search.

From what I can tell the second link is the same as the first?

I have an e34 Bentley, it's really good, heaps of detailed info etc. The haynes is totally useless in comparison. The Bentley is also about 2-3 times thicker than the Haynes I had. As already mentioned, Amazon ended up having the cheapest I found INC shipping. They said mine would take like a month to arrive but it arrived just under 2weeks if I recall.

Hey all, now I know this topic has been done a few times, but my searches have proven unsuccessful. What i'm wanting to know is how do you get the NZ stickers etc for these plates to make them appear somewhat legal. I asked the guy at german plates and he said they don't do them. Now i'm a little puzzled? Can anyone fill me in as to how you go about it? Ian.
