Hey guys, looking at changing my spark plugs but have come across a few questions. My mate is able to source Bosch Platinum +4 F7LTCR for cheap/almost free, the manual states F7LDCR, but he said he is unable to find them. Looking at a plug designation table the LTCR is 3 prong and the LDCR is 2 prong. Would these make a difference at all? Are there other brands/types which would be good/better? I have a 93 540i with an m60b40.

I drive an e34 540i, Mass Air Flow meter. Unfortunately, i'm an Aucklander and can't wouldnt have a clue with your second question, haha. Ian.

Hey guys, I just wanted to let you all know what a fantastic job Glenn at Botany Motor Worx, a forum sponsor, did for me and I recommend him to everyone with any car troubles. My 540i was idling very very rough and would die every now and again. I rung Glenn yesterday and fortunately he was able to look at it for me that very day. He diagnosed the fault within 5min, a faulty MAF sensor and ordered it that day. It arrived first thing this morning. Took the BMW back to his shop and within another 5min he sorted it out for me.
