Hey nice writeup! I was there too, thats my e36 and my brother in the e30 in that first pic. I gotta say the day was all good fun, we were pretty much behind the whole day too, but mostly because our navigation skills sucked and we some how ended up in hamilton twice (despite the planned routes never going through hamilton). We didnt do the theme thing cos we're useless, but will make a plan for next year haha. Judging by the reactions of everybody I know, next years event will be MASSIVE. looking forward to these pics and video.

I got a rattling comming from the cat under the car. I want to replace the cat with just a pipe but am told it will sound terrible. has anybody had a 318 without the cat, does it sound that bad? I'm not to worried if it sounds a bit bad, so long as i don't get wof problems, but I don't want. It sounding "terrible"

hmm, had a look, no amp in there. Remove the CD changer bracket and took out the carpet, no sign of an amp, the signal cable runs toward the front of the car, so i guess its just powered by the head unit. anyway, saturday i'll be installing the amp and bluetooth unit, will just have to trace the signal cable and make a plan, then hopefully i'll have a working A2DP bluetooth driving the audio system.

Hi all. Hoping someone could point me to the location of the amp. I have a 1997 e36 318ti. there are 2 rear speakers, 2 front in the kick pannel and 2 tweeters in the door cards. Have already replced the front speakers. I dont know if the head unit powers the speakers or if there is a factory amp. I'd like to replace the amp, or add an amp to the system, I have a 2ch Alpine V12 that will do the job. I dont want to rerun signal cable, prefer to use the existing cableing, thats why i'd like to work out if there is a factory amp... cheers

ohh, really, i'd be interested. Is the stones ect going to mess up my wheels? also my cars a little bit lower than standard, so the grass may be a no-go. Is there any chance of tarmac. seriously interested, i'm just a beginner, and dont know what to expect... also whats the cost?

Hi all. I've got my 17" AC Schnitzers on now, so... stock wheels and tyres for sale: 5 spoke 16" factory alloy wheels. 225/45/16 (from memory) near new tyres (2500 - 3000 KM old) Will accept more than 400 for the set.

hoping to get 2000+ for the car as a whole. or maybe 1500 without the Kit. - that im sure i can sell sepperate. I'd rather not take it appart - dont have the skill / time / tools /space to start dismantling it. Hi I beleive its genuine Kit, was like this from the factory. The front left bit (behind the front wheel) is the only part thats not - to my knowledge -021919696 - roshen

Different LSDs used? Hi all! The LSD in a E30 ///M 325i is the same as in a standard 325? Did the 325 even have an LSD or only the motorsport version? I'm looking to swap the diff in my 318ti - I have a E30 M325i (1989) diff, I want to know if it will work as per all the "how to put the e30 diff into a 318ti docs" around the interweb.

looking for a 318ti in manual - in fairly good nick. around the $5000 mark.
