Yeah well thats a given.. Check out the car before you buy. VTNZ/ VINZ WOF's would be an added piece of mind though. In general.

^Linking fail.. What would you rather. Buy a car that has a WOF from a random 'garage' or WOF test centre. Or buy a car that has a WOF from a Land Transport NZ approved inspection place, VTNZ, VINZ etc.

Any intrest in a getrag 240 box, has the steel plate type shifter. Shifter nuckle on the rear has been replaced so it's pretty tight. Won't have a shifter though, took me z3 one out sorry, but all the other linkage is there. 5 speed.. suits m20 motors.. Had an oil change about a year ago and a new reverse light switch for it. Goes all sweet, no probs getting into gears, never grinded a gear unless it was my fault lol. i think one of the mounting ears, for the trans mounts, have cracked off but it has enough there to still mount and sit fine. Looking for say $250 for the box. no clutch or associated bits, not a manual conversion.. just the gearbox itself.

What offset are the wheels ? It depends how low your car is and the offset you go with.. I've run 205/40/r17's easy as. They are a low profile tyre so it won't rub unless your car is completely slammed.
