Could be the diff's worked it's way loose.. If it is your hanger bearing, Likely your driveshaft has homax u-joints.
-
Slave is $45 and master is $71 from supercheap. Of decent quality too, Never run into any problems with the ones I am using.
-
I had jamex's once upon a time. Way too soft and they sagged for me especially in the front. King springs are way way stiffer.
-
Is it a power steering rack ? Or has it been blocked off ? Could be keen at that price.
-
hahaha Looks pretty well done.

Nah they aren't too loud, I have a trademe muffler it was quite abit louder than standard (Had to change mid section muffler to a bigger COBY), but it was probably just within the limits as VTNZ never hit me up about it at WOF's. Just whatever you do, don't get a fart cannon..
-
Exactly, It's all about the noise restriction. They couldn't really care less what your exhaust is so long as it's sticking out the rear doing it's job. IMO it will be way to loud.
-
No way, It will be way to loud.. If you want $50 'loud exhaust' fines accompanied by 25 demerit points, Go ahead lol.
-
Feel free to come view motor or turbo parts.. Lots included, Full motor and everything (minus flywheel and clutch) to assemble it all. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Members/Listings....?member=2420009 Will do a deal for the whole lot.. Hit me an offer.

Are you sure you have a 3.64? Not a 3.46? My 3.64 gets 95km/h 2nd, 145 3rd @ 6200rpm.. With a 4.45 it was 70ish 2nd, 115ish 3rd, 145ish 4th IIRC ?

Insane. 110 days to render!

-
The stance just isn't doing it for me.. Nice car though.
-

Have you desprung it ? Saw it drive past the courthouse in the weekend I think, sacked as with standards on the rear hah. Go to repco they can get / have tint spray it's like $25 for a can..
-
Yup it will. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-253037833.htm

The 2.7 pretty much fits in and looks stock, I used the standard 325i ECU with it, just with bigger injectors.. But the power difference compared to a m20b20 is like comparing night and day... So it is pretty much stock in a certain sence, you are using all stock parts.
-
That second photo would be cool in the calender lol. It's a pretty cool shot.
-
Check my auction on trademe for a 2.7 stroker.. I might even still have a 5 series oil pan you could chuck on it to fit your e34..
-
That is a standard e30 wheel not a tech1 wheel unfortunately. Tech1 wheel has a m/// colour logo attached around the bottem bit and has 3 horn buttons on each 'spoke' of the wheel.
-
Hahaha 'burn on ur mum'
-
Yeah definitley.. Ask at an exhaust shop, they can pretty much make anything work / fit, within reason..
-
Nah you don't have to. I could fit my big ass pliers in the tunnel, clamp it and push it around to loosen then do the rest by hand. You probably don't even have to bother doing it, if you have the center bearing out, put the diff in and when it comes time to put the driveshaft in, it should pull the 5mm of driveshaft out as you tighten the bolts. Because TBH when I swapped from small case to medium case I didn't adjust my driveshaft at all and i swapped between those diffs a couple times too and not once changed the length.
-
Yeah they slide together, But that locking collar bolt squashes a bush in it as you tighten it and it stops the 2 halves just sliding out. Yours both should have a locking collar.
-
Yeah but the locking collar holds the 2 halves together, Makes it near impossible to just slide it off.. I use a big set of pliers.
