Welcome to bs! A good place to start re the suspension is here - http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index.php?showforum=42 Enjoy

I think Yuens point was that sometimes the cost benifit of buying from the dealer is good. E.g you get a brand new part that you no the condition of. not a second hand one that 'could' break as well. Often dealer prices aren't as bad as you expect. Ray at Hellbm is the best source of 2nd hand bimmer parts - He's a forum sponser on here and I think his number is 021 2 hellbm Cheers

I'd go for an E39 540 before a Holden V8, Have driven a few late model SS's with the chev 5.7 and there nothing to get excited about in my opinion. They seem to rattle like sh*t once they get a few k's on the clock. Theres a good range of nice 540's on Trade Me at the moment Or a bmw limo! http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C.../p-62705361.htm!

Mechanic apprenticeship or something similar
Braeden320 replied to Creaver's topic in General Discussion
Try - http://www.goughscat.co.nz/training/appren...prentice_system One of my mates did his through the Nz Army with great results if he's into that. Theres a shortage for mechanices so he should pick something up if he's onto it. -
Wrong.

Yea 5k is far to much, Had a feeling mine were about $2500 or so and that was with a General Anestetic

Looks to be tidy however it is a buyers market and the price is possibly putting some people off. Also the comments like 'MY AGENT WANTS A DEAL' can't be helping. Some pictures in NZ would help you, as the current ones are clearly in Japan

Help me decide which wheels to put on my ///M Touring!
Braeden320 replied to Fai+H777's topic in Wheels & Tyres
Keep the standard ones you already have, They look far better than anything you posted and the size suits the car. -
Have just put a set of these on the 323i, Got them for $1160 including an alignment, balancing and fitting. 225/50/16 I am VERY impressed with them, Excellent grip in the wet and the dry,and like Grant I can push the car alot harder now. Very happy with them and im going to put a set on the 320i when it needs tyres. I would highly recomend them. Cheers and let us no how you get on

who wants a bimmersport facebook/bebo page?
Braeden320 replied to pureboiracer's topic in General Discussion
I don't think we need one. If people are looking for a Bmw Forum and they are smart enough to use google and search Bmw Forum then bimmersport comes up first. So yea, What is the point -
Very Nice, Great Choice of Car!

Just a general opinion, sorry if it offended you however it wasn't directed at any one car. I just don't enjoy the general shape. Cheers -

I usally think compacts are ugly as well and i would be the first to admit it! I think this one looks good beacasue the colour and the wheels fit well together, Plus it is very tidy in general. No Leg Humping here! -
