For sale is my 318is auto with 181 on the clock, twin airbags, runs perfectly, has a couple of lil dents and one lil section on the left of the rear window where the paint has cracked. you would not notice it unless i pointed it out. There is a curbing on 2 of the wheels, but they have 4 new tyres on them only been to taupo and back to hamilton once. Any questions feel free to ask. my mobile is ************

ive changed the door cards to this, it will have a black leather strap as thus was just to see if it worked. using the outer door window rubber moldings on an 850i cut down and placed on the inside of my doors got rid of the ugly clips that would usually hold the trim on. it looks alot nicer i think.. matches the back ones now.

Happy New Year i hope everyone got to relax and have a great time, wow 2012, supposed to be the end of the world right... haha we'll see. so anyway had a great holiday away and i go back to work on the 9th, with the misses back at work now that will give me a few days of doing what i love.. So today i got the rear inner door handles out of a E38 as they are deeper and will sit flush with my alloy trims, fitted them to my front doors and also made a pull strap out of the leather strip on the center arm piece of a E34 which i will be fitting tomorrow...

i slept in due to going out on the town , so not much got done, am quite un impressed at my efforts today... So today i installed my braided brake lines boost gauge and fitted the rear quarter panels.

sorry im not sure how or if ill be using pins for the boot... so today i cleaned up all the underneath of the car were the welds show through and painted, and also found some burnt wiring that runs to the speedo sensor on the diff. will fix that tomorrow, i installed the rubbers around the rear windows and cut the over hang off, you know that bit that goes over the interior trims. they look much better now.. gave the car a good wash, and also tomorrow i will install the boost gauge and make floor plates, well thats the plan...

Na its the rear manual window regs from e36 sedan just drill out the windings and use and drill the bush.

Yeah it looks quite low right... my clutch leg doesn't hit it but its close, real close, im going to wait till i get some race seats for it then hopefully ill sit a bit lower that the factory seats, but if it gets in the way ill have to get another bar put in, if worst comes to worst.. i think it looks nice though

Thanks man i quite like the wheels although not all people like them and each to there own, these will be dresses up with some paint and will be my race wheels, im also going to paint up my 19" stalkers to match the car once its all painted on the outside for road use.. ok sent away my clutch pressure plate to get uprated from 1100lbs to 2500lbs with a non slip spring clutch plate. should have it back friday and installed in the weekend along with the abs removal, braided lines, master cylinder and side windows in and parcel shelf panel made... happy days

ok so today i made the alloy super charger pull button holder, and the center dash switch panel and right hand panel for the boost gauge and light switch's im pretty stoked how they turned out... Well thats the update for the week. have a good week.

Cool no worries, i get it back from the panel beaters on Wednesday, ill be working on it every weekend till its done, just swing by in the weekend some time at sd european.

ok so one day left on my holiday. all is going well.. apart from the serious case of sun burn i got today running around the yard looking for different size grommets, best place to look is e46 engine bay and e34 boot i found. i must admit i got way to carried away looking for them i have so many left over... Finally the roof goes on on tuesday, but tomorrow will need to prep the surfaces between the two then drop it off to the guy who's welding it. hope you guys are enjoying the project so far..

hey what are you doing about your heater box im sure i have a non ac unit lying around if you want it, same as the one im running..

Thanks i guess, im going to redo the front doors at some point soon. for the handle im going to have a pull strap, and the opener not to sure yet maybe some sort of slider knob thingy. Got the dash fitted and car wiring all in place, and most of the grommets, im going to have to pillage some more off some wrecks to fill all the holes. still heaps to do had enough for today, hope to get some headway tomorrow..

This is true i cant imagine it would be very easy upside down.. you need to find a way to hang the car, hmm... As you can see in the pics if i use e30 handles they just clear the cage as they dont stick out very far from the door, i have also made some alloy covers for the doors and rear quarters, if anyone would like the template for these let me know. well, all is painted and the finishing touch's are not far away, dash in and wiring to be done today...

ok so paint costs lots... Today I.. Stripped the front doors of there intrusion bars, they weigh sh*t loads. Made a left and right manual winding coupe window reg's, the mechanism from a e36 4dr rear reg. fitted them Made Templates for my door cards of of cardboard Cleaned that sticky sh*t off the roof...worst job ever. Brought my final coat paint and painted the inside of the roof. Tomorrows list... mask roll cage scotch pad interior Paint interior Im loving having time off from work at the moment, only 4 more days left and so much to do..

A quick update..

yeah that's like my one it has two speeds. and yeah blows a crap load of air, any ideas on the best way on wiring it up because i was going to have switch's on my dash you know like, this on, that on, this on, fan on etc...

And then it rained so no painting so i unstitched the new roof i cut off the other day, and removed a non abs master cylinder and piping for a wreck, that was a good solid 12hr day.. looking forward to tomorrow when ill be able to etch a few more lil bits here and there, primer the whole interior and inside the roof skin, and paint the cage with the final coat...

At the moment i will be running a 318is lock diff, in the near future a complete rear subframe from an m3 with diff..

ok so today after work i chopped off my new roof to go on my car, also have taken all next week off to get the cage painted and a few other things done, so there will be a few updates to come in the next week or two..
