This weekends plan will be doing some painting on the body and weld the nut on the oil pump while the engine is out, does any one know if you can upgrade the oil pump using one from another bmw engine?? Was also thinking of die grinding the internal side of the block on my engine and sanding it nice and smooth to alow oil to return quicker to the sump..

So i guess ill run with this one and see how we go...

When you drove it did you have a pod filter on the air flow meter? if not that will make it run a bit weird. Are you running it off the clutch via a floor switch? are you running any one way valves for the idle actuator plumbed in after the meter.

I can see how that would work, pain pulling it apart every time till ya get it how ya want it.. Does anyone know what the best and user friendly BOV is?

True, now ive been reading alot of forums on the Tial Q, there is alot of people having surge issues with having the wrong spring. Mine is a 10 psi spring. ill need to check the vac at idle to make sure i have the right one, i didnt know you had to do that before you ordered it, mind you the didnt ask either.. at least i can send it back and get the correct one if need be, thats the good thing about buying new

Never owned a turbo car till now lol oh and i found a m54b30 complete block kicking around work, i think ill be using that later haha EDIT: turns out its a m54b25 block However i can get hold of M50 intake cams, read somewhere you can put the intake on the exhaust side to give better lift. has anyone done this?? worth doing? I purchased 2 50mm v bands $41.50each and a twin scroll t4 flange 28$ today so i can now make the bracket to hold the turbo off the block and start chopping up exhausts to get the bends
