Nothing significant - a bit around the battery and around various stone chips.
-
The irony is - I brought the car from Lower Hutt!

For Sale 1984 318i E30 Coupe. Alloy wheels (bottle caps), Sun roof, Tow bar, 5 speed Manual Pre face lift model with M10 engine. WOF expires 22/1/09, registered to september 09. 185500 km Minor panel damage on right rear, front drivers seat is badly worn but have some ok covers on them, about a 50 mm crack in the dash. I wouldn't describe it as mint, but certinly not an eyesore, $500 to bimmersport members

Cubic NZ in Mt Eden often hire electrical / electronic engineering students over the summer break - she's probably left it a bit late but it may be still worth ringing John Gibson (Engineering Manager) on the off chance

Thanks All. The answer was basically what I was expecting. I'll let my mate know that what ever his plan was, it won't work

Are the bonnet and front guards of an E92 2 door and an E90 4 door the same or interchangeable?. It's an odd question I'm passing on from a friend in Japan - I have no idea what he's up to.

Is this offer still open?.

tcf seems to the correction ratio between axle hp & flywheel hp (ie 9%). Here's the axle hp. He didn't really say why he didn't rev it harder, looking at the graph it's still on the way up when the run is terminated. I plan to get a few more k's on to it and then look at it again. Currently the motor has driven between Pukekohe and Drury and spent some time on the dyno - Everything is still bedding in.

It's now better but not as much as I'd hoped for when I build the engine. Engine spec is M10, 10:1 JE pistons, 304° Cam, E30 325 throttle body (58mm) o\n E30 318 inlet manifold. 250cc injectors, Link ECU

Times 2, except replace M3 with E39

Actually I only need the fitting at the speedometer end, I need to make up a custom cable to go from my Type 9 gearbox to the speedo. So if you have a damaged cable with a good end that would be perfect. Cheers Craig

Another option. I've just about finished my M10 to Ford Type 9 (Sierra) conversion in my 2002. So far it's looking good, hopefully I'll pick up my driveshaft tomorrow. If you want to know why I've gone for a Type 9, check out Quaffe's website for the goodies that are available for the type 9.

Please do - but all my 2002 dizzy clips are different enough that I can't use them.
-
Actually I'm only after the clip & it's holder in the attached photo. So if you've got an otherwise dead dizzy I'll take it off your hands. Cheers Craig

Ok that sounds fair - but I better clear it with her indoors first. It's spare parts for the rally car and I've been spending up large lately. It might be the straw....
-
Is $50.00 for the rear disc set up too cheeky?
-
Not in Auckland - but I get a lot of parts for my 2002 (go the M10) from http://www.autohausaz.com in the US. The parts generally arrive in about a 8-10 days. If you're going to do a serious rebuild you may also like to look at a long engine kit from http://www.racetep.com/2002pl0902.htm (scroll down the linked page) The listed kit is for a 2l M10 but I'm sure they'd also do the bits for a 1.8 M10
