Hey selling my M Sport 3 spoke wheel with airbag, should fit all E36's and is a great upgrade, $230 plus shipping

Would these fit on a e36 coupe, would I have to roll the guards much ?

Skip to the pictures if you cfb reading my rantining So I have done most of the updates in my Intro thread, but I will recap the work and future work planned for my car. First its a imported e36 328i coupe M Sport 152,000Km's which I brought 4 months ago for $5000, but it doesn't have the leather trim, imported into NZ in 2005.Everything is pretty straight for the age of the car and no aftermarket parts installed. I'm abit of a BMW purest, so anything that was factory on an e36 including m3 and ACS parts will go on the car and will limit aftermarket parts as much as I can, just not a fan of aftermarket parts like cleartail lights, big bore exhausts etc.So hopefully next summer it will be ready for a track day at Ruapuna. Last weekend I completed a auto to manual conversion, and has completely changed the car, would highly recommend doing this upgrade if you are thinking about doing it.Next job is to replace pulley tensioners, water pump, thermostat, belts and fix small oil leak on the front bearing, also for wof need 2 new tires and new bushes. Wheels, so I have been looking for something for 4 months now, really want 9"s on the rear but I'm not sure about the offset, don't really what to role the guards and have low profile wheels as its a daily driver and cbf with rubbing and a hard ride, so will keep looking and researching, something BBS LM's or ACS, GASTKR has some ACS type 2 that I really want but I know it will be a pain to fit. Work Done: Front black lip Auto to Manual New rear rotors and pads Rug doctor interior (always good to remove 13 years of human hair and skin, water was black when I finished) Replaced fog light Future plans: New Wheels M50 manifold and ECU tune (Brought m50 manifold from TM for $25) Chrome Gauge's Center console arm rest 3 Spoke M Sport steering wheel retrimmed in Alcantara, fabric and steering wheel purchased waiting on delivery of fabric

Ok, just drove home with my new gearbox installed, car is alot faster very happy with the result. The car holds the revs when changing gears, isn't a bad thing as combined with the short shifter its feels quick between gear changes. Conversion went relatively smooth, only part that was hard was undoing the bolts on the bullhouseing to crank, were insanely tight and hard to get to also the clutch hardline was a pain to install. Wiring was super easy thanks to Glenns guide, only took 10-15 minutes, the auto warning light is still on thou. -

Big today tomorrow, gearbox in going in just go a few parts at repco to pick up in the morning.Female Torx sockets were a pain to find, fog light and new gear knob turned up just in time, only $35 including postage for the fog light all the way from Latvia and people what up to $80 on trademe. Alcantrara fabric turned up so the gear gaiter and ebreak are done next is the steering wheel. -
Is the windows seal for the rear quarter panel in a coupe and left or right hand side ?

Update, today we installed the manual break pedal and clutch pedal and next weekend is going to be when the gear box goes in. Few questions thou, the clutch release bearing I got in the kit is in ok condition should I replace it regardless with a new one, same for the driveshaft center bearing ? Also anyone in ChCh I could borrow a clutch alignment tool would be great. -
Hey, doing my e36 auto to manual conversion next Saturday, anyone in Christchurch have a clutch alignment tool I can borrow for the weekend ?
-
Sorry David have to concur with Bandit's post.Wonder how much power it would make ?

I was going to buy a gear knob(weight (180 grams) but they wanted to charge me $50NZD in shipping so I flagged, where as ebay small parts from the UK are only $20-$30NZD for shipping. So I brought the same part from ebay with only $20NZD shipping from Latvia.

Hijack your thread abit. 12k starting bid, 19" on a e36 can only imagine the ride quality. http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/...n-568697492.htm

So I have decided to keep the factory Dual mass flywheel and clutch, ordered a few parts this week, planning to do the conversion in 4 weeks time(so much for 6 months), though in 2-3 weeks time I will fit the pedals and master cylinder to save time on the conversion day.Found a place that will retrim my steering wheel for $300 but getting some alcantara fabric is to hard and expensive so its going to be Ultra suede and hope it doesn't fade or wear to fast. -
Is this guy for real, I know ACS wheels are rare but they are in average condition and they are 1 piece and not even the racing version.Would pay $1500 max imo. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=566706872

I'm about to do my e36 328i soon.Brought a kit with everything I hope, biggest thing I'm worried about is getting half way through the conversion and realizing that I dont have a key part.Still cant decide whether I ditch the dual mass flywheel and go for a single mass lighten flywheel from UUC, but its a extra $1000.Also need to get a diff, may install the manual and see how it goes, have got a open diff atm. Also thinking about getting the ecu remapped after the conversion mainly for fuel econ, again another $700-$1000.Will post the conversion in my new members section.
