lanzar one dude...bravo-blaupunkt amp is fairly old (I've had it for 2 years, and my bro got it secondhand about 3 years previous to that..... the power connectors need a tidy up since they've bitten it a bit from taking it in and out of van quit4e frequently.... might keep it to run a small sub, does a grouse job of that but yeah, if I can get a better one to run my speakers I'd let it go fairly cheap

apparently the only physical difference is the spring itself and the shock, the strut structure itself is the same, therefore you can fit other springs but need to tkae into account the higher spring rate of m-t@k and the lower ride height......

m50 convert.... do it do it!!! a bit of decent power to match the handling.... :mosh: anything you do is gonna cost a fair bit, doing major mods to the 1800 is going to cost probably as much as an m50 convert, with less power, and more potential reliability problems than a factory standard engine..

correct, it'll run on like a "limp" mode, which adds more fuel..... shouldn't be too much of a job to install and wire up an O2 sensor... get a lead safe one then you can runs avgas :pimp: :bounce: :bowdown:

I've always read differently about the stock system, plus the middle muffler, apparently, has a tendency to collapse internally (baffles dislodge) which block them up like nobody's business.... when sparkle did his exhaus it made a huge difference... when you get the factory mufflers off you see exactly how sh*t they are.Personally I'd rip the factory ecu out, not bothering with chipping or hotwire afm conversions... Link ecus have had a price reduction of late, should be able to pick up a whole setup for around $1200 i'm told, then you run MAP sensor instead of afm, fully tuneable rom... with a chip you're fairly set in the ways of the manufacturer of that particular chip's specs, with a link you have full tuneability, and extra bits and pieces like electric fan controls, shift lights and that sorta thing if you should feel it neccessary.. sure you have to run it up and tune it on a dyno, but then again, you really have to do the same for a chip, and then to get the real benefit you still have to do the big afm change (moving vane are so restrictive) which woulld tip you well over the price of the link, and without the same potential power still... my 2 cents

if your parents own an auto shop where you can get kings at their wholesale cost, why not roll in there this week and call stocks and price up some shocks to suit superlow kings? they're really not that expensive.... most are wholsale around $60-70 per shock. Am I right in assuming their wholesale on kings is around $60 as well?? cheap suspension upgrades in my opinion, might as well go fully new and have it how you want it first time... I always hear that kings are sponges... In all experiences I've had they're pretty good.. jamex are soft in comparison, kings are stiffer than stock, especially since you've got like 330km on yours :mosh: perhaps research pricing on H&Rs? pretty chur springs for bmws I think... can't remember the place in aucks that do them though.... ask stocks, they'll tell ya check all your bushes out when yo do it as well :thumb:

sparkle's mum's compact had the traction control button on the front of the console.. hold it down for like 5seconds with the car running and it kills the traction control completely, until you turn car off... just pushing it once put it into like a snow mode or something, whixh was like traction control half on if you get what i mean.. I always prefer to drive with traction control off, IMO it feels safer, it can do more harm than good when you could need to power out of a slide or somehting like that traction control off = phat vt@k skids yo
