rc gas cars are the sh*t.... better than gt4? um, i duno....... GT4 is $110, RC gas cars are $1k up from memory, bout $15-$30 for a ltre of fuel, then repairs, worn out parts & tyres and sh*t like that..... not really a comparison.. not to mention tryin to find somewhere to let it stretch it's legs....... cool tho, been thinkin of gettin my electric ones out for a while now lol.... just make sure ya dont play with gas cars on roads with catseyes, me and my mate hit one in his at around 100-120 (0.21 engine and 2speed gearbox) took a long time to stop barrel rolling........ :mosh:

can't go wrong with a garrett T28 from a RB25DET nissan engine... ball bearing as well usually, plenty of flexibility for mods to turbo, fairly priced as well if you look around. Got a TD04 on my van, sure it's a diesel but it runs outta boost around 3k rpm, boosts from 1250 tho haha

hah, compressed springs are arse....... best to spend a little more and get some kings or somehting....

exactly...... lol tim how's your floorpan and chaasis rails look??? mate of my brothers has a 320 f/l thats abvout as low as yours, if not lower.... sills are all munched up and sh*t... i guess it depends on how ya treat it and sh*t but still, f**k that!!! i used to constantly rip the exhaust off my mini which was only about 60-70 mm off the ground (never had a problem with wofs either lol), can't see why you would wanna go below 100mm....

Word, It rules hard.... definitely worth getting!!! the physics seem really quite real no longer can you bounce off the walls to get through certain corners more quickly.... some cars seem really slow in comparison to their realy counterparts, and others fast, in particular the wheelbarrow mini box cars and sh*t.... must say, drifting it up (read crashing into everything) in a new M5 on nurburgring is the sh*t.... :thumb:

I think that would be a waste of time, if you can't take a little bit of sarcasm or sh*t from somebody, even if it is in bad taste then wtf kind of world are you livin in???in the real world sh*t like that happens, get over it.

lol, hell i'd get the thermostat checked and/or changed, can't be good for an engine to run cold like that........

A wise man once said, "Buy a honda" honda city turboII with the rag top to give it that BMW baur coupe feel
-
i think others here have done e30s because of the cost factor, and preferance over specific models..... glenn's owes him less than a e36 328, and has a smidgen more power I'd put money on it being as reliable too, they're strong engines, even in modified trim

buying a car off anywhere is exactly the same..... just advertised it on there coz the drift boys dig c33s, and mirrored it to here to heighten my chances... it's not thrashed, i don't thrash it and i'm 100% sure the old fulla before me didn't either. with the same token bimmersport can have shitters for sale as well, thats why havin it looked at properly before buying is imperative, as with buying a car from absolutely anywhere...would be one of the better laurels around, everythings in good as cond, alot of the time they're pretty worn out. no offence taken.. cheap car for somebody, it wont let ya down!!! :thumb:

make up a cold air box man, shouldn't be too hard.... alternatively pipe the pod down into behind your bumper, theres no hot air down there...

275+gst each trying to get prices down tho, may have found my suppliers supplier = lower prices :thumb: :thumb:

you will find that engine management will be the hardest and most expensive part of the whole thing.. I'm not a believer of keeping n/a engine management of a turbo car, it can be done but for reliability and drivability theres more merit in using microtech/link blahblahblah... when i was preparing to turbs out my ae86, pre flood, i had turbo manifold sorted for $600new with downpipe, $400 for a mint ballbearing t28, mods to inlet manifold $60 blahblahblah... most expensive part was going to be the ecu, which doesn't end at the purchase price, I was going to install everything myself, along with a GENIII 4AGZE engine (steel crank, forged pistons, low comp, 7rib block etc), but the ecu would still need tuning to do what i wanted it to do, wich can be costly... woulda ended up costing me $4-5k i reckon, before i even had it in a drivable state, you can guarantee that your trans would sh*t out with any decent power increase, you'll have to strengthen your engine considerably for boost (hell, you can run it at low boost but you'll yearn for more power fairly quickly, which means winding the boost up, so easy to do) and then you have to f**k round with extra cooling and intrercoolers and all that sorta crap.. IMO don't bother unless you're gonna do the whole thing at once, and have some mean numbers to make it worthwhile, you'd be better doing a manual convert etc, worked N/A engines rule, nothing like a lumpy idle
