  1. Got these out of a bike magazine, so there more related to motorbikes but there still funny as hell...

BTW these are from a 1962 Honda Motorcycle Instruction Book

    Safety Instruction

    1. At the rise of hand by Policeman, stop rapidly. Do not pass him or otherwise disrespect him.

    2. When a passenger of the foot hooves in sight, tootel the horn trumpet melodiously at first. If he still obstacles your passage, tootle him with vigor and express by word of mouth, warning, Hi, Hi.

    3. Beware of the wandering horse that he shall not take fright as you pass him. Do not explode the exhaust box at him. Go soothingly by.

    4. Give big space to the festive dog that makes sport in roadway. Avoid entanglement of dog with wheel spokes.

    5. Go soothingly on the grease mud. as there lurks the skid demon. Press the brake foot as you roll around the corner, and save the collapse and tie up.

  2. My bad...

Anyway, theres some guy out in Island Bay or somewhere like that out in Welly who advertises bmw parts in the trade-exchange who has an auto 4 door M325i, claims it was a rare factory option. Seemed like he knew his bimmers but your saying its probably a kited 325? Just curious bout this one.

  3. I thought it was around 200bhp standard as well, i just wasn't expecting a repco pod and a bling bling muffler to give that much of a gain. Oh well at least theres something going for hondas. I realise that dyno's are mainly for tuning but i just wondering if anyone knew if it that dyno gave particlulary high readings.

Still, hes making the same power per litre as the latest M3 in a car that cost $6500 inlcuding mods.

  4. Hi guys,

One of my mates has a 92' Vtec prelude. Its pretty standard other than pod filter, and an exhaust with a big shiny muffler and a coby. Anyway he took it down for a dyno tune at chequred flag. First run he made 132 kW and after they had a little play with it he made 136 KW. Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't that around 180 hp at the wheels, and if we say theres a 20% power loss through the drivetrain he's got 225hp at the fly. I reckon thats pretty impressive for an pretty much stock NA 2.2 thats over 10 years old. Has anyone else had any experience with the Chequred Flag dyno, and how accurate is it?

Before anyone asks I have seen the printout so he isn't full of BS

  5. Is there anything stopping you FL guys from making your own?

I went down to the plastic shop and they gave me some off-cuts of orange plastic and i cut it to shape. It doesn't have the pattern that the normal ones do but i did both sides and it looks fine (as good, if not better than stock)

Cost me nothing and it gets warrants no worries.

  6. Finally got Glen's old exhaust system on!

I like how it sounds, not too loud but still has a nice rumble, not to bad for a 1.8

Only problem is the muffler is sitting too high at the back so I'll make up a new braket tomorrow.

    Cheers Glen!

PS- I'll drop those seats round as sometime soon.

  7. What am I doing wrong? All i get is an error message saying part of the file is missing? And thats on both quicktime and media player? Is there a better player i should be using?

Anyway I saw that on TV, Thats gotta hurt

    and Murph :thumb:

  8. I don't know how they compare to 325 brakes, maybe someone else on here will know. They did have ventilated rotors on them but they have been sold. They are not mine but off a friends car so I am selling on behalf. I will see what he wants unless you want to make an offer?

  9. It was only the EVO versions that got the 2.5 engines. Its a strange one, if it was only a cabrio with M3 panels thrown on chances are it would have the facelift tail lights, but it has pre-FL lights, like proper M3?

  10. I aslo doubt being M3, i thought Cabrio M3 were extremely rare, and one at that price?

About the buttons, I think i have seen other cabrio with a similar console setup. The other buttons might be for the rear windows?
