  1. E30 320i Jet-tronic motor done 151,000k in great condition, doesn't blow and oz of smoke and starts first pop, runs well. Can still be heard running in the car. This includes Basically brand new raditor and piping, engine obviosuly, alternator, started, loom, ECU and whatever else your keen on under the bonnet. Will be putting on trade me tomorrow for a lowish reserve and will let market decide and take it away unless otherwise sold through bimmersport before reserve gets met. text or call me if you have any questions or PM. Jase 0212 475 366 $195
  2. piece of piss mate, pedal box is hardest part. You do need a few tools. Theres plenty of people on here that would gladly give you a hand though Im sure. Ill give you a hand if you get stuck. Most drive in drive out services for E30's are around $1350 where as you can get parts for $600-800 so it all depends on how striped for cash you are but Ray at HELLBM does offer a fantastic service and the parts he uses and sells are all of top 2nd hand quality. I, along with several close friends have used him for about 6 months now and would highly recommend to anyone.
  3. Cheers to brent - we now have one. Cheers.
  4. very well done mate, looks great!
  5. Still need one of these, and Im not keen to pay 200+ for one either so it might take me a while to find one but like i said, it doesnt need to be mint, the rougher the paint is the better as its only getting molested anyway.
  6. Haha GOOD call. Its been playing up here for a few days now too, pain in the ass to be honest, even though its easy to link through a bimmersport email thread link. "Someone should fix this problem or I'm going to leave Bimmersport.... YEAH RIGHT"
  7. Just get yourself a cigar and you'll be sorted
  8. C36 and C43 are FTW - if i had to buy two second hand mercs it would be either or of the C series AMG's and a SL500 Coupe. The C36's are a pretty bad ass 6 cyl merc in my opinion and i'd almost own one over a E36. Just a shame theyre not in manual however the C180 and C200 boxes can be made to fit
  9. haha one day one day, will be a e46 csl tho
  10. mate i have tried every! thing to find one of those but no deal. the closest ive got is the front half of the system which wont do sh*t
  11. Cheers Glenn, It will be hard to find something like that over here i'd imagine and to be perfectly honest I cant be bothered importing etc just for an exhaust. What else is before the tip though? is it straight through from manifold to a couple of bullets and then the tip? or something different.
  12. Yeah hence the reason i have held off on the remus tips... NOT cheap and im sure theres a way to get a nice sound and also freeing the sytem up a bit more for a slight power gain rather than paying big coin for one rear tip
  13. Could I have a listen to yours by any chance Miles? before i go and splash into one lol. ?
  14. how would that sound Wayne? and were you meaning just the middle section or both parts and bolt the whole lot on?
  15. 86 320i done 150,000kms motor is in great running condition and can be heard running. Gearbox conversion is sold. Diff, brakes and motor are pretty much the only mechanical parts left to sell off. Most if not all interior parts are still there, is blue interior, black dash and centre consol. Doors are in mint condition (CAR IS WHITE) Boot is mint Bonnet is mint Tail and head lights are mint, Exhaust system is all good All windows and windscreens are mint Wing mirrors are mint Thats about it. 16. After manualing the 328 i wanted to beef up the sound just a smidge to give it a bit of an aggresive sound but not loud and not droooooonnnny which does seem a bit niche but Glenn's compact sounds amazing IMO so would like a similar sound but don't want to keep spending money and time trying different tips. I put the power pro on there which some of you may have heard but originally just a tip swap with that caused it to be 114db which was rediculous so put a 18 inch koby resonator in there which brought it down to about 92-94db and sounded good but was too drony round town and at low revs for my liking. Scott brought that so i tried something else... Straight through from the headers to the factory tip thinking it would beef it up but wouldnt be too drony due to the factory tip having enough muffling in it to keep it quiet (hope that makes sense). BUT the car is now parked up because im too embarressed to drive it anywhere with the way it sounds haha. basically sounds like someone drunken chundering into one of those big empty milo tins. NOT nice at all. Any suggestions to different systems or tips or things i could do to get a good sound? Its booked in tomorrow to get returned fully to standard which i might just leave it as... HELP
  17. They're gettign a bit too wanky for their own good really, fair enough with trying to crack down on the dangerous sh*t but they will just get all big headed and start nailing people with even remotely nice looking cars for creeping over 2500rpm. I spose it will be good for the race track owners though, more people keeping it on the track rather than the roads (good fun too)
  18. Cheers for that guys, I had it right the first time but it was another issue deeper into the electrics causing it to not start so took us a few hours to get it sorted but its one of those things that you just need to keep trying every possibilty until you find the problem unfortunately. Not too bad though we got the conversion done in 2 and a bit days between two of us. Max (E30affair) will no doubt have some photos up shortly of his immaculate e30.... JEALOUS. Thanks again
  19. guys, which wires do we cross over out of the old auto shifter plug so it thinks its in neutral.... have tried several different wiring combinations but it wont start still. Have looked everywhere for the bloody answer but no deal. text me if you can as we will be out in the shed again. cheers, jase 0212475366
  20. isn't yours black though ryan?
  21. considered selling it with the move to aus on the cards but would have more than likely taken it with me anyway. Looks like we are staying here though now as the plans we had went out the window cheers for the comments
  22. Haha, a bit of mixed opionions flying around, i never knew how many different views their were on eye lids until this poll. I'm still at this stage sticking with them but like i said early may take them off when i change a few other bits and pieces. But farrrrrk i love crzyarabs old M3 i actually want it
  23. My car wants a night with your car so it can persuade a swap with your exhaust, air intake system, flywheel, clutch, diff, front lip, short shifter, and every other bad ass thing you have done to make that car a bloody rocket ship. But yes it is fussy - strictly NO 5 series haha peace guys
  24. Haha I know some good English classes you could attend to assist you in understanding those "little things" that may challenge you, PM for details lol - just giving you a bit of stick btw man so don't think I'm hating on your or anything but seriously... it does actually make sense to everyone i have reassuringly asked so far. Agree'd but still undecided :S Unless you install them really tidy as scott and I did lol but yeah your right.
