Dropped the car off to Ray at HELLBM yesterday arvo (Tuesday) and picked it up tonight (Wednesday) all finished and absolutely amazing job. The finish of the interiors bits and pieces is as it would come out of the factory and gearbox/clutch etc is all very good. So if anyone else is looking for parts or help with anything I wouldn't hesitate to call Ray again. Great bloke. Cheers.

Hey does anyone know how to or if its possible to override the ASC button in the E36's so that the system is always turned off? I've never liked the idea of electronic computer controlled driving... and am getting sick of turning it off all the time. not to do skids because its not even worth doing one of those until i can waste 2 tyres instead of 1, I just want to know if its possible to turn it off and keep it turned off. Let me know. Cheers, Jase

hey guys, Ill be manualing the E36 within the next month with all going to plan and will be doing exhaust set up straight after it but cant seem to find any extractors for it. I am mainly wanting a price for now so i can get a few figures done in regards to other bits and pieces i have left to do. If anyone could let me know where to hunt a set down, thatd be tops. cheers, jase

you should make one out of home.commercial air conditoning springy hose. would look tough! sorry, its probably the ex-japanese car scene coming out in me sadly enough. have you tried parts connection in manukau auckland. they will more than likely ship it down man

hey guys, the times fast approaching me to manual the 328 and am weighing up a few different options... I can get hold of a conversion through the euro parts connection in manukau there for a pretty good price so thought id see if anyone on here has anything to say about their conversion packages? good or bad etc. Let me know. Cheers! Jase

oh i might.... look at changing the grills to the inverted style that are set in, instead of the push out ones that it has. Ill still get chrome lipped ones tho at this stage, will see what happens. again comments on this idea welcomed.

Just a quick update of what stage im at with the car. Ive been a bit lazy/busy with other sh*t lately so havent been able to do much more but to since the last photos, ive changed the lower bumper grill to the M3 mesh (mission....) and also added the proper coupe eyelids thanks to Hamsh, as the last set i had on there came off at 100kmh through hunua scaring the sh*t out of me ha. Other changes are mainly just the sounds, have installed a alpine equaliser thanks to brent puling one out of the shed for me, what a bloody mission that was as well (took about 5 and a half hours just to get the equaliser into the glove box and plugged up etc). So ive run 3 lots of RCA leads to the boot to amp front, rear, and a sub set up. For the mean time its just running a nice 12" kenwood sub in a custom box and powered by a mono fuson amp (not my ideal set up but is only temp) will be doing a custom box to fit perfectly in the boot with a small distance between the subs and the rear seats to give the rear seat passengers a bit of a massage and putting 2 10" subs in there instead of 12's. Im not too sure what i want to do in regards to rear speakers yet however so that could take a while before i get anything permanent in there. As for the fronts ill be putting in a set of infinity perfects but will keep the factory tweeter set up there. Factory head unit is still in there with the 6 stacker snug away inconveniently in the boot, and wont be putting any aftermarket headdeck in either. So yeah that sums up the car to date, have the front lip in the shed but its a matter of finding a spare few hours to sand it to fit and then getting it all put on. Once again comments and ideas are welcomed Cheers.

Hey guys, Does anyone know how the rear parcel tray comes out? Ive had a brief look but would rather not break anything too soon so thought id see if anyone else has taken it out... Cheers!
-
i highly recommend infinity kappas for the front in any E30 or 36, Extremely clear and they pick up every bit of vocal and mid range you could ever expect to hear, and run cheap 3 ways in the back because E30's seem to have a natural ability to pump awesom low range bass and clarity without distortion from the parcel tray and without spending big bucks. I had a set of Pioneer Pro Series components in the rear of my old E30 and took them out and out $26 pyle 3 ways in there and it was just as good if not better... it doesnt really sound true when you tell someone until they witness it lol. Hope this helps

awsome!

looks good nick, IMO get it painted, some colours suit it being left black and some are better suited painted, personal preference would be paint it. Cheers mate!

the C is for coupe mate. Is there enough difference in the 2 door and 4 door for them not to fit??
-
yeah those or even the ones that stretch right around the indicator. those ones only stretch half way around the indicator. they are actually the ones i had on there that came off haha

hey guys im after a set of E36 eye lids. I had some but one of them flew off the other night out the back of hunua and nearly went through the windscreen haha so need another set. Let me know what youve got. I want the wrap around type, NOT the short ones that only cover the head light. Cheers, Jase 0212 475 366
