  1. Did you have one? Brown leather FTW! The three dore with white leather and red carpet owns the liftback. http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....c=13677&hl= Them not knowing the specifics of your car is simply because it’s not in their system, I have had State invent two new cars in there system, AH Holden Astra SRI-T and Renault Megane 225 Team F1, you have to be careful because come crunch time they will try and give you what you are insured as, crashing our Astra and ending up with a bread and butter 1.8 would have been stink as. Don’t start me on them, The guy that runs the office in Grafton need a bullet in the head, he insulted my missus, myself the poor Asians in front of us but worst of all he touched my E30! I have only once been in a situation when I thought if I had a gun I would shoot you right now without thinking twice, bet if we had gun laws like in America he may have had a different attitude,
  2. Mechanically minded or not you can’t swap a diff, water pump or steering pump on the side of the road. Im luck my best mate is a tow truck operator and he is known to have driven some mighty long distances to save his mates.
  3. A heavy 2JZ would f**k things up and would be a massive step backwards, from the looks of things it will run a Subaru Boxer 4, now this is good because its compact and can be mounted very low and far back which should make this a hell of a balanced car, im not a fan of the way Subaru’s drive but have to admit they have an awesome sound and are an interesting concept, wonder if Subaru will do a EJ20T version, now that would be fun. Reminds me of Toyota, as history has proven Nissan copy Toyota while Toyota muck around with concepts.
  4. Just found my next car. I have always wanted a AE86 (befor they were cool even, like when you could buy a mint panda 1987 model for 2k) but mucked around and never brought one and now that they are stupid money and there is no New Car RWD equivalent, that died with the culling of the 200SX a few years back. I would put money down for one of these tomorrow. It’s been on the cards for a few years, was almost canceld at one stage! Leather dash with zippers and awesome copy of Ferrari air vents/Cluster (that didn’t take long Japan) look sweet. Check out the mag-lite controls and soft touch stereo controls. Link to article on Ultimatecarpage.com with more hires images Can’t wait for the hater’s comments, yes your E30 looks way better
  5. Im with State insurance and they look after me, have had two tows in the time I have had the E30, figuring in $200 a tow it paid for my insurance.. Also windscreen insurance is a goodie. I think having some sort of cover is a must when you have an old car that stops randomly.
  6. Looks good Nick, well impressed. Car is coming along nicely, what’s next on your wish list? When are you going to liberate the 2.5
  7. Real shame, an M3 would make the craziest rally car, you would be clenching every corner and counter steering 80% of the time. They look fantastic when they get it wright though, love the couple that have so much grip they pop up on two wheels. Makes me want an M3 even more though.
  8. That would have been quite hot under there, have had the same thing happen but just used shoe laces.. was mean as, like riding a horse.
  9. We will see if that’s true if Sebastian Loeb gets a chance to race F1 in 2011 wont we.
  10. Under steer FTW… that last white hatch was going superfast, wtf happened there I wonder, pac notes guy was on the acid “four left tightens into five right, don’t cut, 9 left flat out over lake…four rightâ€
  11. Or maybe the new Evoraaa
  12. Lol, working on cars should be avoided at all costs, mowing the lawn is strenuous on the brain enough! Actually, mowing the lawn is a good hangover killer! Have tried a simple pad change with a hangover and I got as far as getting the car jacked up, took us like an hour then we gave up. Curry is by far the best dinner the night after the night.

    Cable ties will own it.
  17. What Vodka do you drink Also, a good cure is to wake up somewhere you shouldn’t be, you will be running and feeling great before you know it.
  18. Wouldn’t know Glenn, it was more the walks home from Manukau to Papakura after realising your friends have left hours ago and you spent you last $50 on a round for some complete strangers you thought were the friends you come with.. Na im sweet, I’ll walk, it’s just down the road…
  19. Like the fan/air vents on the dash, very original, maybe they got sick of everyone from copying the lovely round ones and thought “copy this!†Id have a red one thanks. Still think the 355F1 is the best looking in this series, not as fast but a beautiful thing.
  20. I used to be able to get completely written off and be fine by 10am the next day, im finding a decent session can have me screwed two days later now, the heavy sessions are becoming few and far between these days. X2 on going for a walk or run depending on how severe it is, im sure yakking whilst you walk home from a pub is a good preventative. Funny when your hammered a 15k walk seems completely doable..
  21. cool story bro! I just imagined what my night would have been like without drinking.. Would have been big time fail spec, im happy with my hangover.
  22. Would have loved to but im cashed out on tickets! 09 is the year of music in NZ.
  23. Nothing works for me.. If im hung over I say good by to a day or two. I find sticking to one type of drink helps, I always have two pain killers a garlic multi and some olive oil before hitting the sack. With age mine have got worse and worse, I end up drinking a lot more than I used to though.
