Thanks for the warm welcome guys! Should be picking my wagon up in the next few days, can’t wait to get stuck in with the Meguiars.
-
I have only been here for 5 minutes but… IMHO yes, but only if its special, stupidly cheap or Barry
-
Thats some nice stuff!! Simota tune their intakes on a Dyno too (check the web-site), they just don’t charge the world for a reasonably simple piece of kit
-
I would take a M3 Touring! I have seen a picture of one along with a M3 Compact..Now that would be fun. Shame they never made them
-
Maybe give Peter a call, he is very helpful. I have a feeling that a lot of the BMW stuff is universal?? I know they do a E46 M3 kit.
-
The Simota stuff is good and they do a nice range of stuff for euro’s! I got my Carbon intake for $210 and came with everything (mounts, clips, washers, intake feed, silicon pipes and clips) including a stainless I/C to manifold pipe! Check out http://www.simota.com/intro.php find your part number and recite it to Peter Lee at Broomfish Motorsport, they are the NZ importer and a good wack cheaper than what you’d pay in store. http://broomfish.co.nz/index.php?manufacturers_id=13 Graham E30 318i

I was under the belief that there was, I know the E36 M3 sedan ran a 5 spoke wheel as opposed to the multi spoke of the coupe. All that I have seen have had these wheels.

What year, how many KM’s, 5-Speed, LSD?? PM sent. Scrap that.. Impact laws would prevent this from being aloud in to our country sorry mate.

Black M3 (BTCCM3) I have seen this car around a few times, its bloody load!! I didn’t understand the plate, the BTCC were 320i. I think it may be an UK import though. My missus was calling him a wanker because it had an M3 badge on it, I have trained her in the art of spotting Ebay M & Trade-Me HSV. I had to explain that there are a few 4-doors around. I think the M3 saloon is easily spotted by its wheels, they are a different design to the coupe

Yea mate at the fly, It’s a laugh watching people try to drive it fast for the first time, it torque steers like hell so they normally end up zig zaging along
-
Thanks. It added a tad more response and a heap more noise, given the car wasn’t under warranty I would ditch the pipe that goes over the engine, surely there is no benefit to having a longer intake track mounted over a hot engine. Biggest gain was the chip at 32kw & 60nm!
-
Thanks, unfortunately my fiancé drives it more than I do. We brought it new from Davie Holden in Manukau just over a year ago.. It goes like hell for a modern hatch back, really surprises a few people
-
That’s nuts.. but cool. Oh to be an engineer.
-
Excuse my ignorance but how is a 2.7 made?? Is that a 2.8block with a 2.0 or 2.5ltr head or something?? I wonder if the 320Igearbox could handle the jandle??
-
Thought you guys might know him, good to know it’s someone that’s trusted and known. It looks like a genuinely good car, is there anything you pro’s sagest I take a good look at, as in common faults?? I have previously owned a E39 528i that was a real lemon and don’t want to go through that drama again

2006 Opel Astra SRi Turbo (Black Sapphire) MODIFICATIONS: K&N replacement element, Simota Carbon cold air intake, Pre-catalytic removed and replaced with stainless steel turbo down pipe, H&R Springs, ChipTuning Re-Map. 180kw/320nm) H&R Lowering kit fitted The pre catalytic converters on the SRi are very restrictive I replaced mine with a Quality German made stainless straight through pipe. The spiel says its good for 10hp, I was skeptical but after seeing the restrictive original then driving the car with the new pipe fitted I feel it about spot on! Wont be taking out the main cat as its not that restrictive, Holden will most likely void my warranty, the car will run like S**t, and im also under the belief that NZ is going to be introducing similar emission testing devices as what Ausi uses when going for a W.O.F's soon. Induction Befor: Simota Carbon Intake Kit After:

Hi (did an intro in the meet and greet area) Im currently looking for a wagon and have my heart set on a E30 Estate, unfortunately there is only one for sale that I have found (if you know of any more let me know) so… It’s a 1989 320i with a M-Spec II kit fitted, looks to have sport seats fitted also. What do you guys think? Honest opinions appreciated, as well as some pointers. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=128952724 The seller tells me he wrecks BMW’s and has a tone of parts available also. I will be looking at suspension and engine upgrades/transplant in the future.

Howdy My name is Graham, im from Auckland. I have just sold my pride and joy weekend car, a mint NZ assembled AE82R Corolla GT and am looking for a work wagon... after sifting through tones of sensible Japanese wagons I found a E30 320i Estate on TM.. I love the E30 (especially the M3!) and have always wanted one as my mum had one new in the 80's. So don’t mind me I’ll jus poke around and try and find some info My Old GT, I miss it already and only sold it yesterday
