Definite theme here - some of you pay quite a bit. It is simply amazing how different insurance companies can be, especially for cars over 10 years old. This is a great premium for a 19 yo! Age: 24 Location: Perth Car Year/Model: e30 M3 Insured value: $30,000 Driving Record: 1 Speeding Ticket Insurance company:Famous Car Insurance Insurance type (3rd party or full): Full Additional features of insurance (road side rescue, windscreen): Windscreen, agreed value, choice of repairer, first right to purchase wreck, fully insured for driving training/educational days - even on race tracks, After one year they moved me to A1 rating - so guaranteed no claims bonus even if at fault - not bad for only being insured for 1.5 years... Yearly premium (inc GST): $1050 Excess: $Low Comments on customer service: A+ Sellar, would use again. Ash

Yes. NZ is flooded with cheap Japanese imports - which is great for affordibility. Australia is not. I roffle waffle at e30 prices here. Then I am However, e30 M3's are cheap... (relative to NZ) I drive 15,057km to work and back daily. It's a big country. Search for used Nissan Patrols of Toyota Landcruisers - pretty common to see 400,000km+ Ash

Grey? You mean Blue/Purple? Macau Blue... I can't figure out if the Alpine car is US or Euro... Do NZ cars need the side repeaters? Thanks for the pics - and see the thread about these cars in the main forum. Ash

Ahh, the 'Factory' RHD e30 M3 is for sale... It wasn't built were every other e30 M3 was built so it's not factory in my book. Now, my memory is hazy, but isn't there a possibility this car was made from a e30 325i shell? - Or was that just the original race cars? For 84k I'll take a SE and a Winkelhock thanks. Ash

Must have been one of the first cars to be fitted with EDC... owner is BMWCCNZ Pres. Red Cabby is from Wellington. Complete ground up restore - similar to The Alpine White e30 M3 on this board - and in the photos I presume. The cab owner also has a modified Jet Black SE. Yum. Bummer about coming forth! Jeez, must have been tough competition... Ash

The car was first registered in August 1987. I have copies of all the original documentation - everything that would be required for importation. Ash
