Spot the difference...

They should revert to the older style grill too- I'd never consider the current model a beautiful car. Looks like a wild pig...
-
You weren't interested Sam? Looks wicked... Mtech II?
-
I think thats the widest post I've ever read....
-
You obviously found this on Trademe? Nice car. Did you manage to talk the owner down some?
-
325i Somebody please buy this car and burn those "mags".
-
Fullspec m-tech II with alpinas and light washers = import.(prob English) The amount of salt that goes onto English roads would kill any kit that old, not a specific m-tec II problem. I have seen the whole underside rusting out of an English import m325i

Hey Sam, whats a motorsport engine ? Does it have a dog leg transmission?
-
Wipers on the lights are not for the rain As Andrew said, they are for clearing snow from the lights- hence why most of the Euro imports have them

IIRC: Snow mode= ignores first gear= less chance of traction loss in slippery conditions.

Apparently the Rainbow didn't sell that well.... My vote for (one) of the ugliest Ferrari's ever.... Just wondering, any of you guys been to the Modena museum? mmmm, F40 evo... (I cant spell the rest) and 308 GT evo (i think it was the 308) One day I'll post pics plus all the rest, F1, F50, etc etc

Ferrari build quality wasn't always as good as it is now, thats thanks partly to modern production technology and the likes of Lambo (audi) and Porsche competition. The 80's and early 90's stallions were know for very average quality control- things like paint and carbon weave finish- after all your paying a lot of money- it should be perfect. I guess at the time, the countach was hardly the most well put together car either. In fact the entire 80's was way too loose and high flying to care about quality. ie- the ferrari rainbow (check it out if you dont know what I talking about) Not the finest car to come out of Modena BTW: I like it, nothing too radical, just looks like a revised 360.

Can someone fill me in on which engines were in the e34's at what year- ie is there a difference between a 1990 525i and a 1992 525i? etc etc
-
Awesome about the new car! Have to start an e34 chapter in welly! What did you get?
-
Is it genuine M325iC? I havn't seen it for ages. Post pics to appease me, tell your mum to sell it to me when I get back.
-
yeah bro, nice pic- were was that one taken? I wonder if anyone would be believe you traded a Alfa for it in the middle of the night- how much you get the the Alfa for-so basically the bimmer? Would look even cooler with bigger weaves or alpinas. Good times in that beast. Remeber if it was dogleg or not- I keep thinking it was?
-
hahaha, this would by my very first owned!! i'll keep it simple for now, no point getting a head of myself, as I master the skills of forum ownage and progress to higher levels.... In time young Jedi Colour= like a very rare dog sh*t from a very sick dog

by governer i was refering to the distinct lack of speed limiter as we tested (terrace tunnel run). Its not worth getting anything from australia, all shiet- I dont think they have any models we cant get in NZ and the prices!! crazy, gay tarrifs protecting the local industry.

Hey bro, it was about time I got you on to this site, pretty eh? well done on posting a pic I have to scroll vertically and horizontally, havn't had one of those for a while, bunny . (edit: nice fix) Cool pick too, any of the 3? gutted if you don't. we should have taken some of the tacho Governers anyone? Honestly, still one of the nicest 5 around, very cool and also the mtrsport convertible! I just relised that your whole family is motorsport! very cool. Not many others could lay claim to owning a pair of classic e30 sports, one convert!

Hi guys, been a while. Things have changed a bit since 2003- now on the same piece of dirt as Steve Erwin, shifted in Jan for school- at adelaide uni now. Anyway, i've been coming back here from time to time- nice to see steady growth!, and also nice to have a free bimmer forum. Thanks Andrew and crew. Anyway, I'm on a quest to compile a complete table on the e30 BMWs with model, engine, hp, mass, production count...... etc, not colours or options at this stage. I have been to www.r3vlimited.com, Jordons compilation was very helpful, although it had a few errors and missing info. Also, www.bwminfo.com was of some use. I'm looking for other sources of information to verify what I have and fill in the blanks. So any links would be greatly appreciated or if you have to info at hand I have specific questions. Notably, information on the Alpina series and accurate data on all the M3. Also, info on the american 325, 325e, 325eS and 325 'Super ETA' would be appreciated. Thanks Ash (btw, you may want to move this to 'General' forum area, is wasn't really thinking when I posted it here- i'll leave that to your discretion-ta)
