Lol true, i should think about the M42 conversion for my 318i. I needs a new engine anyway I'm still undecided on what to put in my 320i though, i don't really want to have to do heaps of engine bay mods to get the engine in, so i've scrapped the m50 idea lol But GL with yours, sounds like you're gonna take good care of it i'm 17 and still at school so i don't really have the funds to do anything with my car haha

Hey does anyone know why my park light won't turn off?? It's really bugging me lol i made sure the handbrake was down all the way and all that I've just taken my carpet out to dry (Got a bit of a water leak), could i have pulled out a wire or something in the process?? Any advice guys?? Cheers Sam

Mine's about 190 in my E30 320i reckon i could have pushed it up to 200 but i realised i was already doing an extremely stupid speed so i slowed back down to 100 lol But still, not bad for an engine that's probably on it's last few thousand ks lol but suprisingly it's in better condition now than when i got it [Edit:] Spelling

I don't think they should be punishing the people with the good quality aftermarket sports exhausts just because they're a bit louder than factory.. It's the people like the WANKERS i get down my street who should be punished... the ones that sound like they've just taken the muffler right off to try and make their pea shooters sound good. And what do they mean by "Well under legal limit"? Does that mean that a car with an aftermarket exhaust will fail if it measures at 82dB?

This thread has intrigued me lol like why is camb getting all shitty about this guy buying an X5? It's not as though he traded an M3 for an X5, he just missed out on an M3 but saw the good deal on another great BMW. And it's not as though he can't ever own an M3 just because he's bought an X5. In the end it's his own decision and i think it's a pretty good one seeing as he still came out of it with a great car haha Haha yeap there's my 2c lol

Haha welcome to the club, my 320i's been nothing but trouble ever since i got it I would definately have bought that b23 but it seems it's already been sold lol oh well i guess i can't really complain about my car since i got it for free But i've had some of the same problems as you. In my case the radio and the rev counter stopped working (And probably some other stuff, i cant remember), it turned out to be a fuse. Uhhhhhhh... and a whole lot of other stuff lol i can't really remember Well good luck anyway, IMO these are great cars to learn in, mine's also taught me a little bit about automotive mechanics as i've had to fix it myself everytime somethinng's gone wrong (Because i can't afford to pay someone else to do it lol)

I've got an '87 320i coupe that's warranted and registered. I'm thinking about selling it for around $1800 but don't know if i want to let go of it yet

Haha i don't really mind if it doesn't sell, as it's a nice car to have, so i'm not really in much of a rush to get rid of it. Sweet thanks for the advice mate, i'll whip out the cutting compound and polish on saturday haha it'll be so shiny it'll be hard for anyone to miss it
