hi , i have a 92 325i coupe auto ( at the moment) i am getting about 450-500km per tank 60litres . its worse than my 1986 M535i 5spd with 478000km on the clock . can get 11.5litres per 100km around town driving and about 9l per 100km on a trip . auto's = lots of wasted fuel .

might be my old car . whats the guys name . is it in the northshore. great car . was owned by bmw nz for first year . has sleightly lower gearing than most ( i think 3.25 or 3.45 ) . a lot of monay spent on it over the years . i have one with 478000km on it nz new , in silver , with 16" late model basket weaves ,black leather etc . if it is my old car its was quicker than my mates red nz new M535i with cam chip and headwrok etc . (like a porsche) mind you it only had 14"bbs with low profile tyres on it at that time . just buy it . great cars everything is fixable . i have lots of parts for these cars .

nice work . i was looking at buying that( just for the wife) and for towing other cars etc . . did you get it for $6k . get the leather from that damaged 530i v8 . i know the guy who brought it . will sell leather for $1000.
